Marja Wilmer - Occupational Therapist/ Art Therapist

1h 6m · Published 18 Dec 21:44
Marja Wilmer takes us on a journey from Finland to England and finally to Ireland. She talks about the beginning of her training as an Occupational Therapist, she mentions "the father of Art Therapy in Britain" Edward Adamson and how the psychiatrist and the art therapist often worked together.
Marja's work stretches across five decades. In this episode we can see just how much art therapy grew alongside Marja, as she progressed in her own career. She is a great story teller as I am sure you'll agree.
We both had some connectivity problems during this interview, though it is easy to follow just with some minor discrepancies. Please enjoy the extra content at the end of the podcast.
