She is the founder and principle consultant of Grit Partners Consulting in Nairobi, Kenya and the Interim Director of Africa Public Health Foundation. She serves as CEO of Peoples Center Health Services in Minneapolis before migrating back to the motherland. She had a difficult childhood, fleeing war torn Somalia with her family to living in a refugee camp in Kenya before moving to the states. She is a woman of strength and courage and one of the most resilient people I know. She is just pure amazing.
