Randell is one of the founders of Toronto’s largest and longest running open mic event known as RISE. Randell talks about his humble beginnings as a youth, and how the arts became an outlet for him. From a young age Codi Shewan was fascinated with people’s life stories. He would often cut out obituaries from his local newspaper and wanted to learn more about the lives of the individual’s in these obituaries. Codi took his passion to new heights as an adult, when he began working in the funeral home industry, and worked his way up to funeral home director. Codi had an epiphany, and he began to ask himself if individuals were truly living their lives as the greatest version of themselves, and if they were living their legacy everyday, rather than just leaving a legacy after they had passed away. In this episode Codi breaks down the lessons he has learned from his experiences, this inspired him to write his first book “Everyday Legacy”.

When you look back at your life, what event stands out the most? In this episode Daniel Lewis breaks down a violent encounter in which he was stabbed multiple times and was left to die. Thankfully Daniel had lived through the experience, and spent a few weeks in the hospital. While in the hospital he had an epiphany and decided that he would launch his own business.. a tea company! This idea would change his life forever. Entrepreneurship would take Daniel to many different places across the world, including serving tea to Prince Charles!
