Tiny Encouragement #5 - Thank You can Build Community

5m · Published 11 Mar 19:00

Look at you! Using those 2 little words to spread positivity, encouragement, and build community!
I encourage you to do 2 things with your Thank You's:

1) Be Intentional - don't throw those words away or utter them under your breath; be intentional about thanking people in your daily and weekly interactions - genuine, sincere thanks directed to another person creates connection and builds community.

2) Be Specific - say thank you for something specific, use a person's name, share a specific reason for your 'thank you.' You will make someone's day! And that can spread...and build community.

Sometimes we all just need to STOP.
It's actually okay to do that. So stop for a moment, or a day, or a weekend, and do what you need to do for yourself and the people you love.
If anyone asks...just tell them I gave you permission to stop and it's all going to be okay.
