With the demand for COVID-19 vaccines expected to exceed supply during the first months of the national COVID-19 vaccination program, ACIP recommended the following priority groups – those at the highest risk of exposure, morbidity and mortality – receive the first doses of vaccines before the general public:
- Phase 1A: health care personnel and residents of long-term care facilities
- Phase 1B: persons aged ≥75 years and non–health care frontline essential workers
Brand or Be Branded
39m · PublishedSeveral people have told me lately they don’t care about their online career identity. This is what they think...
“I should be able to do what I want.”
“My life shouldn’t be judged by employers based on what they see on the web.”
I say this: brand or be branded. You can either make sure people "hear what they see" in a way that boosts your credibility. Or, you can ignore your online presence and be seen as A) non-existent and unimportant, or perhaps even worse, B) the Dennis Rodman of the Net.

30m · PublishedSeventy percent of the U.S. adult population in 2007 was online and 80 percent of them say they have searched for health information. But data from two studies—the Pew Internet & American Life Project in 2008 and HINTS, a 2005 NIH research project focused on use of the Internet for cancer information—paint a radically different story of Internet health information access among the haves and have-nots.
- Twenty-five percent of Americans whose household incomes are $20,000 a year or less had broadband at home in 2008—down from 28 percent in 2007.
- Forty-three percent of African Americans reported having home broadband, compared with 57 percent of whites and 56 percent of English-speaking Hispanics. (https://www.hsph.harvard.edu/news/magazine/fall09digitaldivide/)

34m · PublishedDiversity: Includes but is not limited to race, color, ethnicity, nationality, religion, socioeconomic status, veteran status, education, marital status, language, age, gender, gender expression, gender identity, sexual orientation, mental or physical ability, genetic information, and learning styles.
Equity: The guarantee of fair treatment, access, opportunity, and advancement for all while striving to identify and eliminate barriers that have prevented the full participation of some groups. The principle of equity acknowledges that there are historically under-served and under-represented populations and that fairness regarding these unbalanced conditions is needed to assist equality in the provision of effective opportunities to all groups.
Inclusion: Authentically bringing traditionally excluded individuals and/or groups into processes, activities, and decision/policy making in a way that shares power and ensures equal access to opportunities and resources.

What Is Asset Allocation
Asset allocation is an investment strategy that aims to balance risk and reward by apportioning a portfolio's assets according to an individual's goals, risk tolerance, and investment horizon. The three main asset classes - equities, fixed-income, and cash and equivalents - have different levels of risk and return, so each will behave differently over time.
