Myth: I Don't Have the Ability to Achieve My Goals
17m · PublishedIn the final episode of this mini series, where I am busting the most common myths we tell ourselves as to why we can't achieve our goals, I'm discussing the myth "I don't have the ability to achieve my goal". This boils down to imposter syndrome. It's something everyone struggles with, it's hard not to feel imposter syndrome when you can scroll through Instagram and see everyone's highlight reel.
There are people in the world with less talent, skill and passion than you doing what you want to do simply because they refused to quit. The world needs your unique talent and gifts and by not going after your dreams you're depriving everyone else. Stop comparing your beginning to everyone else's middle, focus on you and just take it one step at a time. God wouldn't put a calling on your heart if you weren't equipped to do it.
