Return of Ritual Podcast

by Amber Wientzen

We discuss how Sacred Ritual can help you remember who you really are before society took over, and what you are meant to do on this planet without hesitation. Ritual and Ceremony were once the cornerstones of our ancient civilizations and its my mission to help bring it back. By sharing stories from speakers from across the globe we hope to inspire your own remembrance and evolutionary healing journey.

Episodes

Season 2 | Episode 8: Susun Weed

1h 8m · Published 15 Dec 15:00

It's a deep honor to introduce you to green witch and Wise Woman, Susun Weed!

You won't want to miss this episode!

Susun keeps me on my toes the entire time and AGAIN brings up the importance of language and the energy we can cast with our words. Mrs. Weed schools me about my use of the word "guys", and since this episode I've tried SO hard to eradicate it from my vocabulary!

Tune in to listen about how from a young age we are taught to give our power away to medical professionals and that in order to stay healthy we have to take drugs. Mainly because they were Ritualized into our lives.

Susun provides an alternative perspective to a lot of our modern theories related to health and medicine. I'm dying to know what you think!

Season 2 | Episode 7: Sushma Sagar

1h 8m · Published 14 Dec 15:00

can't wait to introduce you to Sushma Sagar. I mean check out her outfit? Can you tell she worked in London in high fashion for years? ;)

Sushma and I met in Germany at the Four Winds Light Body school where we were studying Shamanic Energy Medicine with Alberto Villoldo. I instantly loved Sushma and everything about her.

She is the founder of The Calmery located on the prestigious Harley street in London, where her vision is to demystify energy healing, to take it out of the 'weird' and into the weekday.

Here us talk about:

how Sushma uses Reiki as a self-care practice to start the day off on the right foot, and how you can too!

how she started using her healing practice for personal stress-management first, before leaving High Fashion.

how by realizing her own impermanence she asked herself the question "what do I want to be remembered for? For selling designer handbags and climbing the corporate ladder? Or..."

When I asked Sushma how she knew the Healing path was for her vs. climbing the corporate ladder she responded with "it was a teary happiness". Doing your souls work elicits a weepy, teary happiness. ::chills::

Season 2 | Episode 6: Nicole Seidlitz

1h 3m · Published 13 Dec 15:00

I'd like to introduce you to Nicole Seidlitz. She is a dear soul sister of mine. We've walked many past lives together and Nicky played an integral role in holding space for me during the tragic house flood of 2017 where I became a psychopomp overnight.  We dive into all the details and hear everything from her perspective.

Not only that, we chat about Nicky's passion for Classical Feng Shui and how we can incorporate Feng Shui practices into our lives to support health, wealth, relationships and more! We share some great tips!

Season 2 | Episode 5: Lauren Duke

1h 5m · Published 10 Dec 15:00

Lauren Duke is neat.

Neat like a glass of whiskey. She comes straight up. No frills.

In our refreshing, candid conversation she tells us how it is. She throws around a few expletives to underscore a few points. It's her style. You get the drift.

We dive into trauma recovery, the journey to becoming a published author, the importance of language (yet again) and more!

Join us for this jam packed episode as we discuss conspiring with our partners to make big life changes. How we can trigger the deepest wounds in ourselves and our partners without even knowing it. And ultimately by making the "unconscious conscious" we become aware of how traumatic events live on in our nervous systems AND what to do about it.

PLUS, how important it is to have more fun!

PHEW!

Dare I say grab a glass of whiskey and tune in?

Okay...perhaps a cup of coffee? ;)

Season 2 | Episode 4: Anaiya Sophia

47m · Published 09 Dec 15:00

I’d like you to meet magically eloquent Anaiya Sophia who lives in the French Pyrenees in a little mountain village.

I really enjoyed the depth and warmth of our conversation. My favorite message from our discussion was "put a voice to that which we know, we know".

We discuss the importance of prayer as a source of all comfort, blessings and grace. As well as, the strong sense of urgency I had to leave California for the month of November and how she and her family have felt a similar calling and what she is doing about it.

Season 2 | Episode 3: Jade

44m · Published 08 Dec 15:00

As you know, I love tea!

It was such a treat to be able to learn from Jade and hear about this ancient Chinese and Japanese tradition.

Did you know tea all comes from the same plant?!

We dive into fermented, aged teas like Pu-erh and their healing properties.  As well as, the connection different teas have to the elements and where they can sit in your body. Or how we can use different teas in relation to the different seasons to harmonize and honor that season and in turn our bodies, minds and spirits.

If you'd like to try some of the tea Jade offers, be sure to use the promocode "ReturnofRitual" at checkout to receive 15% off!

Season 2 | Episode 2: Marcie Telander

1h 5m · Published 07 Dec 15:00

I had the privilege to meet Marcie in person at Wise Acre in Crested Butte, CO during our August road trip. Well after this interview took place.

Having a chance to interview and spend time with Marcie in person, I can attest she is a wealth of knowledge. A true Ritualist. A compassionate and loving listener, an eloquent storyteller and wonderful guide. A true wisdom keeper and teacher of these ancient ceremonial traditions.

It brings me much joy to re-listen to Episode 2 and hear Marcie talk about Vinotok. An incredible harvest community festival steeped in Ritual and Ceremony. Something that Marcie has brought to life in Crested Butte, and has been said to inspire Burning Man!

I hope you enjoy the magic and the mystery of this episode!

Season 2 | Episode 1: Kerri Hummingbird

51m · Published 06 Dec 15:00

Welcome to Season 2 of the Return of Ritual podcast!

Our first guest is Kerri Hummingbird. Kerri spent 20 years in high-tech before she had her awakening.  Hear how Kerri changed her name to align with her new, higher-vibrational energy and became a number 1 best selling author!!!

Some of my favorite moments together were (besides Kerri's amazing laugh):

- Hearing how Kerri bookends her day with sacred Rituals even when its freezing cold outside!

- When Kerri asks us some difficult questions like "do you place money above people?"

- How to choose a life of nectar and align with the Second Wave and become an even more courageous being!

And of course it wouldn't be 2020 without a little podcast rookie move, so you will hear me keep it pretty real about half way through.

Episode 21: Anoushka Florence

34m · Published 23 Sep 16:57

Today’s guest is certainly a special one. For this episode I’m chatting with the gorgeous Anoushka Florence. I first discovered her work over a year ago thanks to a sweet friend.

Anoushka birthed The Goddess Space in 2015. She was seeking to create beautiful sacred spaces to support, hold and empower women; she began hosting small women’s circles in her living room.

Her work is based on ancient spiritual feminine practices that are grounded in the belief and knowing that the power to heal, to manifest and to live the life we dream to live comes from within.

Episode 20: Tessa Bowman
