by Amber Wientzen

We discuss how Sacred Ritual can help you remember who you really are before society took over, and what you are meant to do on this planet without hesitation. Ritual and Ceremony were once the cornerstones of our ancient civilizations and its my mission to help bring it back. By sharing stories from speakers from across the globe we hope to inspire your own remembrance and evolutionary healing journey.

Episode 19: Morgan Daimler

50m · Published 23 Sep 16:52

Fairies. Fairies. Fairies! In this episode I interview Morgan Daimler, a witch who’s been a polytheist since the early 90s and a published author of several titles with Moon Books.

I was gifted Fairy books as a child. These weren’t the “tinker bell” kind of fairy books with Disney appeal. No. They were grotesque, strange creatures and from that moment on, I was intrigued. I don’t know what intrigued me more, the thought that other worldly beings existed, that magic was real or that my imagination could run wild and I could conjure up a Fairy realm where the good folk ate spiral cakes and banana juice and danced with the elves and garden gnomes. Ha! Stick with me.

Either way, when I discovered Morgan Daimler and her extensive research in Irish and Scottish folklore and fairies I was giddy with excitement. Her work presents a sobering look at The Fey.

Episode 18: Kate Murphy

28m · Published 23 Sep 16:49

In this episode I speak with the darling Kate Murphy! Kate is a serial entrepreneur, the wellness influencer behind Living Pretty Naturally, a yoga teacher, a facilitator of Women’s Circles & Ceremonies, Reiki and breathwork practitioner, sound healer and space holder.

Oslo is her home-base and Vancouver, Canada is where she hails from. She teaches retreats around the world and has a passion for working with spirit and the divine feminine.

We dive into the Ritual of beauty in this episode and how we can use our beauty routines as a Sacred Ritual. Hear how I’ve gone to scrubbing my face without much attention to devoting sacred time morning and night to nourish my skin and amplify my self-care routine.

Episode 17: Brandon Knight

57m · Published 23 Sep 16:46

I’ve got another fine gentleman to introduce you to, Brandon Knight. Brandon has lived a life devoted to spiritual development and psychology for over 20 years now, traveling and learning from some of the best psychological, metaphysical, and Shamanic practitioners in their respective fields.

He currently supports his wife, Kelley Knight, in the overall operations and forward culture of Modern Mystic Shop in Atlanta, Georgia. Which I’ve been too! It’s a beautiful shop with the most incredible crystals, artwork and spiritual goodies all sourced from local, small business owners and a lot of them are women too! If you are ever in Atlanta I encourage you check it out!

Brandon and I talk a lot about spiritual command and really getting in the driver seat of your life, he talks about how to harness different energies (even what appear to be the “darker” energies like the goddess Kali) if we truly want to transform. If you are thirsty for transformation this episode may get you thinking in new ways and get you inspired to build a support system of people around you to help you with your transformation!

Episode 16: Laura Perry

42m · Published 23 Sep 16:45

In today’s episode of Return of Ritual, I interview Laura Perry. Laura is an artist, writer and the founder and facilitator of Modern Minoan Paganism. The Minoans of Bronze Age Crete have been a passion of hers since a fateful art history class introduced her to the colorful frescoes of ancient Knossos.

When she’s not busy drawing writing, or leading rituals and workshops, you can probably find her digging in the garden or giving a living history demonstration at the local historic site.

Laura shares some incredibly simple yet incredibly profound wisdom in this episode. My favorite Ritual of Laura’s is when she wakes up and “greets the sun”. I’ve told so many people about this simple Ritual since hearing about it from Laura, because it really struck a chord with me and I’ve been intuitively doing this for years! Laura explains the sun is the same sun our ancestors looked at and is the same sun everyone else on the planet looks at. Ultimately connecting us throughout time and space.

Episode 15: Belinda Pearl

49m · Published 23 Sep 16:39

In this episode I interview Belinda Pearl the lovely mystic and intuitive healer with 20+ years of experience in the fields of Esoteric Healing and the Mystical Arts.

I’ve never been to Africa. But hearing Belinda talk about the spirit of Mother Africa, her home country makes me want to experience Africa’s beauty first hand. Not to mention, listening to Belinda's gorgeous South African only adds to the appeal. J

In this episode we talk about how being born and raised in Africa opened up Belinda's spiritual gifts from an early age. We discuss prophetic dreams and how we can use dream-time as a Sacred Ritual. I’ve started to remember my dreams since my discussion with Belinda and I’ve notoriously NEVER remembered my dreams.

Belinda Pearl does Akashic Record readings. In this episode you will learn about what the Akashic records are and how we can use them as a guide on our spiritual, evolutionary healing journeys.

Episode 14: Krystal Visions

37m · Published 23 Sep 16:34

I remember when I was gifted my first real Tarot deck. I was in New York City with two beautiful girlfriends. We were perusing through a spiritual bookshop when we discovered the Tarot corner. We were instantly “ohhhing” and “ahhhing” and it was quickly decided that we MUST buy a deck and do readings for each other that night!

Well, that’s exactly what we did. They gifted me a deck and I did a Celtic cross reading. It was my first real reading, and I had no idea what I was doing. All I remember is the cards took over and we gained so many insights from the spread - we all ended up in tears! Tears of joy, tears of pain, tears of sisterhood.

When I connected with my next guest, Krystal Visions I felt that same sisterhood. She is a beautiful soul and has the gift of reading Tarot and Numerology. She’s the kinda girl you’d want to sit down with and chat with forever about all things Divination.

We dive in to the Ritual of Tarot, numerology and more in this not to miss episode!

Episode 13: Dean Taraborelli

50m · Published 23 Sep 16:33

Dean Taraborelli was my first teacher in Chile when I went to study with the Qechua Shamans of the High Andes mountains. He is the founder of The Sanctuary a residential, alternative, holistic non-twelve step addiction recovery center located outside Sedona, AZ and senior teacher at the Four Winds Society and international school of energy medicine.

In Chile, we instantly connected. I remember going to a local Shamanic Healer in Carlsbad, CA before my trip and her saying to me “someone will really SEE you in Chile”. Well that person was Dean. Dean saw me. And it's an incredible feeling when someone truly SEES you.

Dean is a beacon of knowledge and the wisdom he shares during our conversation is top notch. We discuss how Ritual and Ceremony can create more magic in our lives, help people FULLY recover from addiction and connect us more deeply to our Purpose.

Episode 12: Libby Carstensen

39m · Published 23 Sep 16:30

In this episode, we dive deeper into the topic of Sacred Grief. I’d like to introduce you to Libby Carstensen, a true gem of a human-being!

Libby has shifted her inner dialogue from, “what’s the worst-case scenario” to “what’s the best that could happen?” She does this through consciousness-based practices like Kundalini yoga and meditation, Ayurveda and mindfulness.

Her career as a radio programmer and on-air personality to teacher and Chopra Center executive gave her insight into many of the challenges we face today. For example, desperately seeking work/life balance and the escalating need to redefine hat success really looks like.

In today’s episode we unpack how grief exists in many forms. Of course grief is ever present with the loss of a loved one, but grief can also be experienced during relatively “normal” experiences in life. For example, the changing of a role or job at work, even if via a promotion! We can still grieve the loss of the old ways, the old work, the old norm.

If you or someone you know is grieving, please share this episode with them and continue to offer your endless love and support. We talk a lot about that too! How to support those who are grieving, you won’t want to miss it!

Episode 11: Meredith Allan

38m · Published 23 Sep 16:28

Meredith Allan is a 5-time award winning public speaker. She is also a seasoned TV journalist and talk show host. Her signature speech called The “M” Factor (Marketing, Messaging, Masterminding and more) took the top prize at The International Public Speaker Contest in Las Vegas, NV. Raising the energy in an audience is a talent Meredith perfected after more than a decade of working as a TV anchor, reporter, talk show host, and radio personality. She has worked on FOX, ABC, NBC, CBS, and CNN affiliates across the country.

In this episode we talk about Kabbalah (don’t worry if you don’t know what this is, I didn’t know much either) and what Rituals she performs on a daily basis to ensure she is showing up and sharing her light with the world every day!

We talked about grief and the importance of surrendering during difficult times (easier said than done, I know). And how important it is to feel connected, truly connected.

Hear how Meredith started to write love notes to strangers after her father passed away and how this helped her transform her loss into a new way of Being. She started showing up with more compassion and was inspired to create more peace and love in the world.

Meredith believes we all have a story to tell and someone out there needs to hear it. She encourages us all to share this gift with the world. I couldn’t agree more.

Episode 10: Ashley Hall Ducey

34m · Published 23 Sep 16:26

Meet Ashley Hall Ducey. Ashley is an internationally recognized wood burning mandala artist and art teacher. Her passions include teaching about conscious creativity and painting. If she isn’t teaching classes or creating art you can find her on her inspirational YouTube channel sharing about spirituality and the law of attraction.

Get ready to be inspired. Ashely teaches us about her daily Journaling practice and how sitting down to embark on a creative project can present to you your internal dialogue and stories you tell yourself perhaps even unconsciously! Particularly if you don’t consider yourself a creative person.

This episode is for anyone looking to get their creative juices flowing or wanting to utilize creativity as a Ritual.
