We kick things off today in the company of Sam Filler and Justin Jackson of New York Wine and Grape Foundation. Firstly, Executive Director Sam Filler sets the scene, outlining the long-standing sustainability credentials that New York grape growers can proudly lay claim to. Music to my ears, given its focus on the growers and ultimately making their the local industry more equitable for them and therefore a more sustainable industry. Sam also sharing a personal example of the often unseen impacts of chemical interventions within the vineyard on biodiversity.
