Today I chatted with Cindy Montoto of Your Little Dove out of Boise, Idaho. 

Upon becoming a mother, owner and founder, Cindy Montoto found herself completely overwhelmed by the immense challenges parenthood brings. She  longed for the simple things and felt incomplete upon searching for local and ethically made heirloom-quality baby goods. After experiencing a devastating miscarriage in August 2018, Cindy began receiving several signs of overpowering peace in the form of doves in her day to day life while trying to cope with the loss. She decided to take a leap of faith and open Your Little Dove as a solution to the in-completes and in hopes of offering peace of mind to other families. 

We chat about her devastating loss, how she overcame her grief by creating a business to honour her sweet baby and how she gives back to an amazing foundation!

Rebecca and I have been friends for almost 5 years now and she is just one of those humans everyone needs in their lives. You all need a Rebecca!! I had the pleasure of talking to Jessyka Hagen of Milkstains and Meltdowns today and we had such an amazing chat. 

Jessyka is ultimately known for her fiery personality and real rawness about the hard stuff like mental illness and postpartum anxiety. She started her blog called Milkstains and Meltdowns to have a place to show what was going on in her world. She was diagnosed with Postpartum Anxiety and at that time there was nothing for information on it. She decided she would write what was going on in her life and that post went viral and was shared by Scary Mommy, Pregnant Chicken and The Huffington Post. Clearly the world needed this info! From then she has been an advocate and open book about any of her struggles and I know her followers adore her for all that she is!

In this interview with the incredible, Jessica Janzen Olstad from The Love For Lewiston Foundation who has taken a path which some might deem an unbreakable darkness and chosen to Bring The Joy in all she does!  

Jessica & Ronnie lost their son Lewiston in 2016 after her was diagnosed with SMA that year. He fought a hard battle but with the love of his parents and sister Swayzie, he got to live the most positive life possible with his amazing family by his side. Lewiston may not be here physically with us any longer but his spirit and legacy live on in The Love For Lewiston Foundation, The Lewiston Label which is an apparel company and now in Jessica's new book coming out in May of 2020 called "Bring The Joy". She has chosen to bring the joy in all she does and after 2020 is over, their foundation will have raised close to 1 Million Dollars towards finding a cure for Spinal Muscular Atrophy.
