Eyes Up Mindset

by John Shirkey and Jamie Wagner

The Eyes Up Mindset podcast is about getting better, period. We are athletes and coaches. We are students and teachers. We are spouses and parents. Our experiences guide us toward consistent improvement. A life of growth requires skill development. Challenge yourself. See what you can do, see what you need to do, see what matters to you. We watch our athletes, clients, friends and employees improve. It inspires us. Journey with us as we explore what their experiences mean for us. And what they could mean for you. Live eyes up. @eyesupmindset www.eyesupmindset.com/ Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/eyesupmindset/support

146. John Shirkey - Who do I become if I let this go?

34m · Published 01 May 09:00

Episode Notes: We welcome back our former co-host, performance coach and mental health professional, John Shirkey. John and I dive into who we might become when we allow ourselves to forget our past. Or when we chose to focus our attention on the little moments rather than the big or special ones. We then discuss how so many of the structures in our life support or create a benefit in order to drive those behaviors. John draws out this amazing idea of "yes, and." We become better when we realize that two things can and should be true.
