La lectura del Evangelio es de Mateo 9, 14-15.
La Lectio Divina nos ofrece la oportunidad de tener un encuentro más personal e íntimo con las Escrituras. Es una práctica espiritual que lleva la oración más allá del simple estudio de las Escrituras y nos ayuda a acercarnos más a Dios como nuestro Padre amoroso.
A través de los cuatro pasos de la Lectio Divina -leer, meditar, orar y contemplar- nos podemos enfocar en la presencia de Dios en nuestras vidas de una manera más profunda que a través del simple estudio de la Biblia.
A medida que profundizamos en la Palabra de Dios, nos damos cuenta de que las Escrituras comienzan a interactuar con nuestra vida y nos guían hacia una conexión más profunda con Cristo. Se nos recuerda que está bien desear algo más de la oración; la Lectio Divina ofrece una oportunidad para una conexión genuina con nuestro Señor.

Lectio Divina offers an opportunity to want a more personal and intimate encounter with scripture. It is a spiritual practice that takes prayer beyond just a study of Scripture and helps us to draw closer to God as our loving Father.
Through the four steps of Lectio Divina—Read, Meditate, Prayer, and Rest—we can focus on the presence of God in our lives in a more meaningful way than through simply studying the Bible.
As we dive deeper into the Word of God, we find that scripture begins to interact with our life and guides us toward a deeper connection with Christ. We are reminded that it’s ok to want something more out of prayer; Lectio Divina provides an opportunity for genuine connection with our Lord.
