Nanette Krentel

1h 3m · Published 11 Mar 00:00
On July 14th, 2017, first responders found the body of Nanette Krentel inside her home, 50 miles north of New Orleans, after a fire destroyed it. Investigators soon discovered that Nanette was shot in the head before the fire started. A series of suspects emerged, and it was found that Nanette was afraid of one person in particular. Join Mike and Gibby as they discuss the murder of Nanette Krentel. Nanette's husband was looked at as you would expect. He was a fire chief and certainly knew how to start a fire, but the police cleared him. His brother was the person whom Nanette had told many people that she feared. But he seemed to have an alibi. The police did make an arrest in the case, but it wasn't because the person was suspected of having anything to do with the fire or Nanette's murder. To this day, allegations of corruption and sloppy police work surround this case.
