Welcome back to another week my lovely people. In this episode, I spoke with 3 lovely students who are in their first year of college. They've mentioned to me the difficulties, losses, and challenges they've faced because of the pandemic. Listen to what they had to share and take notes of some advice they gave.
In addition, September is Suicide Prevention Month, be kind to someone, and tell them they matter. YOU matter!

When supporting a friend, validating their feelings and emotions are extremely important. We want your friends to feel seen, heard, and supported. Tell them they have every right to feel how they are feeling.
Validation is key.

A lot ask or wonder how my sister passed away. After six years I am finally able to grieve. About the lose of my ten-year-old sister. She was so energetic, athletic, and talented. I miss her dearly, every single day.
Keep going, it gets better. My sister would be extremely proud of me so I keep going forward for her.
