Penny wears many a hat but in this podcast we explore the role that she plays in the community of Marlborough New Zealand as an environmental guardian through her work at Forest & Bird Marlborough and Te Hoiere Project. Mel grew up in Seattle and always dreamt of being a business woman but was living much more of a hippy lifestyle but wondered how she could blend both worlds. Since moving to New Zealand she has worked hard to keep both of her sides alive. Mel and co founder Niamh have recently launched Well Now, a platform to enable last minute appointment bookings for health and wellness… something women and particularly mothers are always keen to slide on in to their days if last minute abundance of time creeps up on the them. Born and raised in a small coastal village in South Africa, Bex has grown up as a lover of the outdoors and is rotating adventures in the mountains to the surf. The physical connection that she has through her adventures drives her deep passion through leadership and education and working together for a common goal through connected ecosystems. Bex has some strong calls for action from our community and one that has stood out for us in that earth doesn’t need us to survive!

Bev Doole is leading our new series of podcast celebrating environmental guardians in our Marlborough, New Zealand community.  As a former journalist, Bev is a curious woman, always asking lots of thought provoking questions and wanted to give nature its very own voice.  Through her mahi at Marlborough Environment Awards, Bev uses her journalism skills to uncover all sides of the story.  She has a big vision for Marlborough’s future aligned to creating diverse landscapes and recalls a story from her youth at Marlborough Girls College mapping the landscapes that will remind us what we can achieve.  Bev knows that we can achieve more by working together and has a number of strong calls for action to work as a collective force for nature.  Are you ready to repaint New Zealand’s prosperous future? Latesha spent her life being home schooled which gave her a lot of time to spend reading and read many great books about global entrepreneurs and their stories. So success for Tesh became about being an entrepreneur and to create financial abundance. 

Today her life learnings and experiences have shaped and evolved her view of success to be more about how she feels and who she shows up to be in the world. 

Through creating experiences, bringing people together, making them feel loved and empowered she has a clear message with a view on how we can work to change societies perception of success.
