1h 1m · Published 08 Aug 18:00
In this age of social media dominance it's easy to get caught up in the facade and make unjust, unqualified comparisons between our lives & others. In this episode we discuss what is the actual reality behind our perception of people and how we never truly try to understand someone’s journey nor the challenges they have faced to achieve what they have achieved. Deana Uppal is a great example of someone who has achieved great success in the entertainment industry as well as entrepreneurship but the reality of her journey is not what you might imagine it to be. Achieving our dreams and our goals is encouraged but to compare ourselves to others when we don’t know their reality can affect our mental health and can disrupt our own journey as well as creating a negative outlook upon ourselves which eventually could set us up for failure. In this episode we discuss how to overcome that mindset.
