Rastaclat: Building a Global Brand Through Bracelets.

Most of us have had an idea for a product, brand, or venture at a young age. You may have even tried your hand at an entrepreneurial venture as a kid, but soon moved on to pursue a traditional path in education and, ultimately, career. 

For Daniel Kasidi, he too had an idea and his idea was for custom bracelets. Daniel even found considerable success at an early age as he sold his bracelet at school out of his backpack. And just like you and me, Daniel would go on to pursue a traditional educational and career path. But for Daniel, he always had a feeling that his bracelet company could be something bigger.

We sat down to hear how Daniel Kasidi first came up with the idea that would eventually become Rastaclat, a global brand built on custom bracelets. Daniel shares how he was able to gain critical knowledge and skills to turn a high school hustle into a burgeoning business that has sold over 10 million bracelets worldwide.

Daniel will share how his brand, and, more specifically, the values upon which he built his brand enabled him to amass a loyal following of fans, secure high profile collaborations, and ultimately build a company that now has 45 employees based out of California.

How Much Should You Spend on Marketing?

Jeff Stillwell may not be a name you recognize, but you will almost certainly recognize some of the apparel brands his family has started or currently owns.

Jeff learned from an early age how to cut it as an entrepreneur. His career began at Auburn University where he and his dad would sell collegiate merchandise on game days. Ultimately, they would go on to create the Game Day brand of apparel, a staple in the southern sportsman's wardrobe. 

Jeff's company now owns Salt Life, a hugely successful coastal lifestyle brand that has come to include products ranging from apparel to cold beer (lager to be specific). Jeff shares his experience from working through college, to exiting through a large sale, acquiring the brand back after the sale, and continuing growth with new brands.
