In the bonus episode before the new season, I talk about the idea of a high-value relationship. Lots of talk these days about "High-Value Men" and "High-Value Women". But I find it more effective to talk about the relationship we want to create before thinking about the person. So I say let's talk about a "High-Value Relationship" rather than our High-Value person.

I'm making a change. I'm switching from asking, "what's your purpose" to "what does love mean and how can we experience more of that in our lives?" This is happening because I realized talking about purpose was more an intellectual experience rather than one true to me and my purpose (which is about people loving their life). So I'm switching to the Love Launch and will be talking with experts, entrepreneurs, creatives, and other people with stories about what does and doesn't contribute to creating relations that work.

I loved this conversation with musician and trainer Patrick O'Malley because he raised an idea that I had never heard before but makes so much sense - "The Failed Beginner."

I'll let Patrick explain the details but the idea Is so common. How many things have you started but stumbled at and ended up back "at the beginning"?

Patrick is a musician and guitar teacher who helps students to go from never having picked up a guitar before to being really accomplished players.

Many of his are retired or recovering from injury. Having researched how and why learning music improves brain health and physical health in so many ways, he is now passionate about evangelizing the tremendous benefits of learning music at any age.

I had a great conversation with Fredrick Douglas Bussey where we explored the relationship between fear and joy. What I love about what Fredrick talks about s the power of bringing joy to moments when you are afraid rather than trying to overcome the fear before experiencing joy.

Fredrick D. Bussey is a writer, speaker, coach, creative, and serial entrepreneur. He just published his first book, Breaking Orbit: Rip Out Of The Regular By Unearthing The Power Within! Fredrick has worked for more than 15 years in the Music Entertainment industry as a Songwriter, Producer, Publicist, Marketing Director, and Artist Manager, spanning the Hip-Hop, Gospel, R&B, and Pop genres. Having launched several businesses, including Icon Status, a digital marketing and branding agency, he is currently developing several other ventures as well.

He has a strong passion for working with youth - especially those in underprivileged circumstances. Passionate about helping others to develop the skill sets to become successful, while attaining the freedom that entrepreneurship provides, Fredrick is a frequent speaker & presenter at schools and events. It is his belief that his purpose in life is helping others to discover and master their gift for their ultimate purpose.

Currently, Fredrick resides in Atlanta, GA with his wife and three children.
