* It could have been a Hot Stream, but it's the Kodi Box, specifically with Exodus. You just but it, plug it in to
your TV, and the damn thing just works. It's like Netflix, but with EVERY TV show and movie, kind of since forever.
You can pay $30-100 to get a good to great one, and there you go... no more paying to subscribe to stuff... It's just
rigth there.

* But seriously, the Kodi box looks great, works great, and has WAY, WAY more than you can find on any other streaming
service.

* The Kodi box IS legal. It's NOT downloading or sharing, it's just streaming, which is within the loophole. It's
illegal for the host for the guy in the country where they don't care about copyright.

* I learned so much through the backdoor recording the documentary series. Trial by fire, really.

* Since my mom died, my step-dad really stepped up with the Christmas gifts in ways mom never would have let him.

* There are reasons you should rent, but many more reasons you should just buy your house.

* 2017 will be the year of Brian. I will be big this year. Do or die, baby. Lose weight, get big on YouTube, or die trying. If I don't make it in 2017, I'll pack it in and call it a day. I mean, if that's not enough to see what I have to offer and share it with the world, what else am I supposed to do?

* Teaching kids how to make and keep resoultions for the new year.

* Why you should ALWAYS try to buy your home, rather than rent.

* Your phone tracks you everywhere, even if it's in places you'd never admit to going. You know, like the place you go to buy your drugs or meet your mistress. Yeah, your phone knows you went there.

* Given the choice, your kids will always buy you the very worst gifts, if any at all. In my case it was both. I had to buy the gift myself, it sucked, and they didn't buy me anything else, even with my own money.

* When planning for end-of-life care, there's one last trick you should try to see if your loved ones will actually wake up. It's not talking or singing to them, but this one little trick IT professionals don't want you to know about.

* Review of the book (and movie) Slaughterhouse Five, and the differences between them. Put this on your final exam, it's actually a comedy, though a very dark, very dry comedy. Still, pretty hysterical when you look at it in the right light.

Here are just some of the topics covered in the the October 31st, 2016 Halloween edition.

* How to end your life with dignity. At some point, you know you're going to die, so just don't fight it.
There was a very successful insurance lady (my mom) who convinced countless patients to die with dignity,
but she when it came right down to it, she just couldn't do it herself.

* Why would a mother who never went to church only care about her kids having been baptized once she
discovered she was herself terminally ill? It's because "bargaining" is a step on the road to acceptance.

* Halloween this year showed something unique... NO COMMON COSTUMES. Despite the huge movies of the year,
there was no BIG popular costume theme. Pretty weird, really. Does this mean popular culture is dead?

* Bi-Polar sounds like either nonsense or some bizarro-land sickness, but that's not what it is at all.
When you're depressed, it's easy to understand, it's just depression, but what's the "manic" part of it?
Mania (or in this case hypo-mania) is actually a state of absurdly high function. It's the sort of thing
where, if you could maintain it, it would make you a god among men.

We dispell some common myths about bi-polar, mania and hypo-mania. If I could sell you the mania, you'd
buy it in a second, but it's a deal with the devil because the depression is coming, and it's going to
steal it all from you, and right quickly at that.

* True science fact of the week. Did you know pidgeons die after sex?

* There's only one joke that holds true (at least in the Democrat/Republican dynamic) that just never,
ever goes out of style.

* Update on the podcast... surprisingly, October was the biggest month ever. Nice, nice.
