2022 has been a heck of a year for this podcast so we thought it was only right to reflect on it a bit. But since this is a DRUM podcast we also chucked in a fun little snare game for y'all.

Enjoy! - Mike & Eddy

It's CRAZY how many similarities there are between starting a coffee shop and becoming a professional musician. I hope that as you listen to Kyle talk about what it's taken to build Sociology from a weekend stand at the farmers markets to the "IT" spot in Folsom Ca that you will have mini epiphanies about how you can do the same for yourself as a gigging drummer, teacher, content creator, etc. "Start small, but start"!

I hope you enjoy the hell out of this episode! Eddy and I definitely did :)

In this episode we play our two favorite fills, explain what they are and how they're played, than talk about how and when we use them. We have such different styles and very different sounding kits yet somehow there were a lot of commonalities in the fills we both chose. We hope you enjoy this episode :)

We have talked about creating a drum part for an original song a couple of times in past episodes but this week Eddy and I break down our process for figuring out, and learning someone else's drum part. Hopefully this episode will be helpful for any of you drummers out there that eventually want to be in a cover/function band

Enjoy - Mike & Eddy
