029 | Men’s Vulnerability with Emma Wynne

52m · Published 15 Sep 18:56

Men are often overlooked when it comes to inner turmoil, and are expected to just get on with it, continue providing, and standing strong for those around them. We haven’t been very good at offering men a space to show up, walls down, to explore and rebuild from the inside out. So many men are taught to wear masks in an effort to hide their true feelings.

In this episode, Emma Wynne dives right into the heart of why this is and how to work through it. Emma starred on The Single Wives on Netflix, is a Men’s Vulnerability Coach, and a Master NLP Practitioner. She serves Men to Transform their Pain into their Greatest Power.

In this episode we discussed:

  • Why inner talk is imperative
  • The first steps to being vulnerable
  • How asking for support doesn’t mean you’re failing
  • How the more vulnerability that’s expressed, the higher the reward

028 | “SHUT UP” AND TRUST with Leah and Jenn

51m · Published 02 Sep 15:25

Jenn and Leah dive into a conversation about the need to “do” when we really just need to “be”. There’s a constant urge to work hard and struggle when it comes to many aspects in life (career, friendships, love, etc.) Our fear-based default is to rush and take the path of resistance rather than calmly wait for the path of least resistance to reveal itself. Our co hosts explore how this feels, why this is, and what it takes to just shut up and trust.

026 | The Art of Asking for What You Want

37m · Published 11 Aug 20:55

“Ask and you shall receive.” This is such a simple concept that we believe is buried underneath layers of conditioning, fear, doubt, and a multitude of other preconceptions. Why do we wait to be chosen instead of just asking? In this Deep Chat, we explore why this is and how we can begin to simply ask.

In this episode we discussed:

  • The false narratives that determine our abilities to ask.
  • Fear of rejection.
  • How to show up to receive what we’re asking for.
  • How to ask for things in a way that inspires others to give to us.
  • Letting go of the outcome.
