42m · Published 15 Jan 02:03

Jenn and Leah receive their first listener question and dive right into a discussion about it. With so many podcasts out there talking from a space of choosing their own divorce, we visit the other side of the story. What is it like to have your partner leave you? Thank you for allowing us to explore this topic with you.

In this episode we discussed:

  • Honoring the death of a marriage may be painful but extremely healing.
  • What to do in your grief… and what not to do.
  • The importance of our friendships and support systems… the ripple effect of divorce on our relationships.
  • “You get the bottom you need.”
  • How our stories are drawn to the surface so we can pay more attention to them and grow.
  • Holding space for all emotions to come up for your children and yourself during divorce.
