Your Private Hideaway!

10m · Published 14 Aug 03:21

Today's conversation is all about relaxation. It is about connecting with nature and your creative spirit by tapping into your own healing energy!  This conversation is one-sided, because today, I am leading you on a solitary journey.  This guided meditation will lead you to a secret happy place inside your mind.  And you can visit there anytime!

I LOVE this meditation.  Usually, I change it up on a whim each time, and you will see just how easy that is to do.  The coolest thing about this meditation is that if you use this tool consistently (like once a week or so) then objects will sometimes appear in your private space from one meditation to the next.  Each time I open the door to my private hideaway, I know something wonderful will happen.  This meditation can help you laugh, relax and just have fun!  Oh, and always drink deeply from the fountain.

(Many thanks to my hubby, Mark, for being the mix master and to the fabulous composer Kevin MacLeod.  His beautiful music is licensed under a Creative Commons by Attribution 3.0 license. )

Likeminded Therapies - Clinic and School of Massage

30m · Published 26 Jul 21:06

Massage might have been overlooked in the past and not regarded as an integral part of a health and wellness journey. Jesse Cox and Rodrick Neher are part of changing that narrative. Not just clinic owners and business partners, they are both massage therapists.  Massage is often sought for when one is stressed out or just seen as a part of relaxation. But once again, Cox and Neher want to change that narrative, too. They practice therapeutic massage, which is more about using massage in a holistic way to treat the whole person. Health can be far more than just about healing the body, because each person is more than "just" a body. We are all collections of emotions and thoughts, practices and beliefs.  All of those can impact the mind/body connection, and impact the healing process.
