My guest this week on“I HAVE TODAY with Diane Forster”is the incredible Felena Hanson.

Felena calls herself “unemployable” after her position was eliminated in 2003. She became an entrepreneur back then…and she’s never looked back!

When Felena launched her first business, Perspective Marketing, she found her passion for supporting other female entrepreneurs through leadership roles with several professional women’s organizations, including Women’s Global Network and Ladies Who Launch.

In 2010, Felena recognized the trend of the gig economy and the rise of coworking spaces. After nine months of research, she saw a gap in the market for a space that was especially welcoming to women. She launched her first coworking space in San Diego, California, in 2011 and has since built six additional locations across the country. Hera Hub, named after the Greek Goddess of Women, still stands out in the sea of thousands of coworking spaces. This is not only due to its spa-inspired elements but also because of the robust business support. In addition to in-person, community-building events, theonline platformprovides members with daily mentoring, accountability, and educational sessions to keep them connected and productive.

Over the last decade, Hera Hub and its family of brands have helped over 13,000 women start or grow their businesses. Felena is on a mission to reach over 20,000 women.

My guest today is Sharon Lee Williams…one of the new hosts on the I HAVE TODAY TV NETWORK! From a baby until she aged out in her late teens, Sharon Lee grew up in foster care. Her upcoming book OutRaised (finding my voice beyond foster care) describes her journey of transformation and how she found her voice as a sought after session singer and performer, a vocal coach and performance coach. She created her own agency for singers and a recording studio. She co-produced, wrote and directed Hot Wax, a musical tribute to the Girl Groups in the Motown era. Sharon Lee bought her first home at thirty-one as a single woman, which helped her to create financial independence. After fifty years as an artist, she switched gears and became a certified Transformational Leader and coach, which led her to become the host of her own TV show called OutRaised Voices. A show that aims to shed light on the lives and challenges faced by those who have grown up in care. From personal stories to expert insights, "OutRaised Voices" delves into how unhealed scars from childhood can develop into unhealed wounds in adulthood, affecting relationships, goals, and self-worth. Today, on the show, SharonLee shares why her mission to help young women aging out and have aged out of foster care is to help these young women find their own voices, be empowered and to live the life of their dreams!
