How This Dude Is On His Path To Success In Ecommerce And Real Estate At 27 With Charlie Chang

52m · Published 01 Jul 15:16

This week's interview is with Charlie Chang. A 27-year old entrepreneur from Los Angeles. Find Charlie on instagram at Charlie__Chang or on Youtube at his channel Charlie the Entrepreneur.

After talking with Charlie, what I love about him is he just jumps into things without knowing anything. I’m the complete opposite. I have to buy the course, find the community, read tons of books, etc - before I ever get into anything but Charlie just dives right in. And from those opportunities - other opportunities just magically seem to show up. Half the battle is just showing up and Charlie is a great example of that.

We talk about his entrepreneurial journey and all of his side hustles he has and how he got started with them. In this interview we talk about his photography hustle, clothing business, amazon fba e-commerce business, and his real estate brokerage.

We also talk about self-improvement and how that has changed his life. We go into his morning routine, books he loves, and the things that have made a huge impact on his life.

How This Dude Went From Building A Luxury Footwear Brand To Luxury Villas In Europe With Victor Hsu

53m · Published 01 Jul 15:15

This week’s interview is with Victor Hsu. Victor is the founder and designer of Facto Shoes, a luxury men’s footwear brand handmade in Europe. Victor is a top contender for my personal “Most Interesting Man in the World” and if you follow him on instagram @VictoHsu, you’ll soon see why. Seems like the guy is always traveling to interesting places, eating at the best places, and having the most fun.

After graduating from NYU, he worked in the fashion industry in NYC as a buyer moving overseas to Tokyo and launching his own footwear brand. Teaming up with the factory in Italy that produced some of the world’s most famous and expensive shoe brands, he built a premium quality brand at a more accessible price point sold in department stores like Saks and Bergdorf Goodman.

His travels to Europe for his shoe brand had him traveling to Portugal frequently where his second act began…building luxury villas.

Victor had been dabbling in real estate investing during his times in New York and Tokyo. While living in these cities, he found that he had an eye and passion for real estate. These lessons from brand and real estate investing took him to a little known area of Portugal called Vila Nova de Gaia.

Falling in love with Vila Nova de Gaia and seeing a big future for the area, Victor started developing his own home there. He now helps and facilitates other international investors who want to build their own villa. Interested in being his neighbor?

We get into his whole entrepreneurship journey in this interview and i think you guys will really enjoy it. this conversation is like listening and learning from your wise older brother who’s just done a lot of cool shit all over the world.

Please share, subscribe, and if you really like the show, please leave us a 5 star review! It helps other people find the podcast and also helps me get other great guests to interview. I would really appreciate it.

How This Dude Generated Over $350k+ And 40,000 Attendees For His Virtual Summits With Eric Yang

49m · Published 01 Jul 15:14

This week’s episode is with Eric Yang, an entrepreneur from Paris currently based in Bangkok. Eric puts together virtual summits and does consulting for people who want to do their own. Find out more about him and his services at EricZYang.com.

What is a Virtual Summit? Think of it like an industry conference where he gathers attendees, speakers, and sponsors - except his are all online.

Through these virtual summits, Eric has generated over $350K and 40,000 virtual summit attendees without spending a dollar out of pocket.

Eric has put on virtual summits in industries like real estate, cryptocurrencies, design, and more.

He’s the go-to-guy if you are interested in doing something like this in your industry and as you’ll find out - they are really profitable and help build your influence and credibility in your industry.

If you’re a young dude who wants to be an entrepreneur that doesn’t know where to start - you have to listen to this one. There’s so much gold in here if you follow what Eric did while he was a student.

The week after our interview together, we met up in Bangkok at an entrepreneurship conference i like to attend yearly. He was coincidentally one of the speakers where he gave a talk about his virtual summit strategy.

Eric is one of my new favorite dudes. I think my big takeaway from our interview is don’t be afraid of asking - you never know what the answer might be. Sounds obvious but obvious things need to be hammered into our heads once in a while for you to really take it in.

In this episode we go through:

  • How Eric’s business failures led him to doing virtual summits
  • How Eric got thousands of dollars worth of conference tickets for free
  • Why Eric decided to drop out of college
  • The exact strategies Eric used to get huge names to talk at his summits including his word-for-word script
  • Eric’s hack for building influence
  • What Eric thinks is the next big thing
