Daydreaming on Purpose. Discovering Our Superpowers Behind the Sealed Doors

54m · Published 07 Sep 09:00

For decades, Anna Margolina struggled with a speech impediment; she stuttered severely, or as she put it, she was very good at stuttering. This communication issue didn't stop her from performing brilliantly in school; Anna graduated from the Russian Medical University in 1996 and got her Ph.D. in biology in 1999. She also worked as an editor and a science writer for the Russian Cosmetics & Medicine Journal. Anna considers herself a stubborn person, and ignoring her speech impediments, she was always trying to talk to people; unfortunately, most people didn't have the patience to listen to her. Finally, Anna found a solution to her speaking issues through hypnotherapy, and her story is beyond incredible.

Throughout this episode, Anna and I take a beautiful and enlightening walk through her childhood, her teenage years, and the beginning of her adulthood, looking at the evolution of her thinking process and the connection she established between her stuttering and her unique abilities. Anna shared brilliant insights about the power that lies behind what she calls sealed doors, those parts of ourselves we refuse or are too afraid to visit. We talk about how people organize their lives around their problems, traumas, and impediments, and we also dive deep into the question that changed Anna's life, how do YOU want to feel?

  • Are there some tools that you could offer people so that they could begin to see how to restructure their thoughts on their own? (28:01)

  • How Anna decided to look for a different solution to her problems (6:04)
  • Michael was born. One of Anna's most embarrassing moments (9:27)

54m · Published 31 Aug 09:00

For most of us, having a negative experience is enough reason to be mad, angry, or asking why this is happening to us. For Pantea Kalhor, things are a bit different. After a man dropped her to the ground to rob her car, causing her multiple back injuries, she asked herself: What was the blessing the universe sent to her through the thief and the car incident? A Fitness Coach That Uses Dumbells to Heal and Cure

45m · Published 24 Aug 09:00

Although the world seems to be open to discussing being fit as a matter of general health and not only esthetics, most people see being fit as a final destination when the truth is, it is a vessel. Trusting the Universe and Surrendering Our Egoic Desires

43m · Published 17 Aug 09:00

The process of ascension or enlightenment is turning our planet into what some would call heaven on earth. It literally means to bring more light, pushing everything that has been in the dark up to the surface, creating a collective change, and experiencing a higher dimensional way of living. When Catherine Ewing read about that about 20 years ago, she learned that the old system must fall first for this phenomenon to happen. Healthcare, banking, religion, and education must collapse so that we can start rebuilding. At the time, it seemed very unlikely, but after what we experienced during the pandemic, the possibility of creating a new reality looks more real than ever.

Catherine Ewing is the Founder of Sacred Heart Alchemy; she is a TEDx Speaker, Psycho-Social Coach, Mentor, Leader at Sacred Heart Alchemy & Sacred Heart Sisterhood. Catherine is also a spiritually focused Women's Transformational Coach, Energy Healer, and Emotional Freedom Catalyst and Trainer.

Catherine blends science, metaphysics, psychology, and spirituality to facilitate deep healing, awakening, and transformation for her clients. She is an expert in healing early trauma, abuse, mother loss, and family dysfunction.

In this episode, we had a profound and touching conversation about how to "find center" when everything moves chaotically around us. We also talked about the contrast between the things we want and manifest and the things the universe sends us. Catherine kindly shared a short version of the Heart-Brain Coherence, a magical and relaxing experience. We dive into the relationship between our egos and the curated world of social media, the benefits of EFT tapping, and much more.

Tune in, and take a step closer to a balanced, relaxed mind, centered in the middle of these tumultuous times we are living in.

Some Questions I Ask:

  • How do we "find center" as everything keeps moving? (3:23)
  • What does it mean that we're in this time of ascension? (6:02)

In This Episode, You Will Learn:

  • The vending machine analogy (7:52)
  • How powerful it is to surrender our egoic desires (9:46)

Year One of Motherhood: the struggles and the blessings

35m · Published 20 Jul 09:00

Erin Bagwell was raised in a household that encouraged artistic expression. Her mother never fit in the traditional army mom image, wearing tie-dye clothing and driving a red convertible, she stood apart.  While her parents supported both she and her brother  to express themselves through art, they assumed Erin would get married and therefore be cared for by a husband. As a result, they allowed her to more openly to pursue arts.

Visiting us today is Erin Bagwell, documentary filmmaker, blogger, and mom. Her first feature-length film - Dream, Girl - premiered at the White House under the Obama administration in 2016 and was recognized by Oprah on her SuperSoul100 list. In 2018, Erin became a mother and started filming her new documentary, Year One. The film is an intimate look at the first year of motherhood through Erin's eyes. It addresses the identity shifts, the challenges of experiencing postpartum depression, and the everyday extraordinary moments of being a new mom.

On her daughter's first birthday, Erin's mind was flooded with memories of the day she became a mother. She experienced firsthand the physical and emotional strength women are capable of; since then, Erin is in awe of us, women, and of our power, patience, and our ability to carry on like we are not also carrying another world on our shoulders. Those early days made her remember her motherhood experience wasn't unique; women have been doing this since the beginning of time.

The Soul Medic. Doing Triage on People's Souls

39m · Published 29 Jun 09:00

It might sound contradictory, but the inner voice that stops us from getting out of our comfort zone and pursuing happiness and fulfillment is actually trying to help us. We need to make enough space to look at it with curiosity and compassion to understand that voice. And that, according to Rachel Alexandria, is the tricky part because we need to comprehend that that voice and whatever is saying is not us. That voice is our inner critic; it is supposed to serve us, not boss us around.

Joining me today is Rachel Alexandria, Licenced Psychotherapist, Certified Family Constellations facilitator, Enneagram Teacher, Master in Applied Behavioral Sciences, facilitator of Internal Family Systems, EFT, and energy work. Rachel also holds a Master of Fine Arts in Poetry. After working for 8 years as a psychotherapist, Rachel started serving as a Soul Medic and Guide for high performers with sensitive souls.

Rachel uses real psychology-based techniques, transformational healing tools, and intuitive insights to help people moving out of mental and emotional blocks that keep them stuck between where they are and where they want to be.

In this episode, we had a fantastic conversation about our inner critic, how it is trying to help us, and how to deal with it. Rachel kindly shared her experiences during her journey of becoming a Soul Medic, her doubts, and certainties. We discussed our inner parts and why the only way of satisfying our inner voice urge is through attention. Rachel talked about Family Constellation, and at the end, she shared an incredible story of one of her first healing experiences.

Tune in and enjoy Rachel's inspiring story about self-discovery, self-compassion, and wisdom.

Some Questions I Ask:

  • Why is it so hard for people to love themselves? (5:41)
  • What if you're stuck in the I'm not enough voice? Where do you begin? (8:15)
  • In addition to the inner critic, are there other voices? (15:18)
  • Can you tell people a bit about Family Constellation? (20:59)

In This Episode, You Will Learn:

  • The world keeps on telling us we are not enough. Why we can't win if we listen to our inner critic all the time (6:01)
