Sisterhood: Connecting Through Meaningful Conversations

by Laurie-ann Sheldrick

It is my mission to share my journey in the best way I know how, through honest story telling, and teaching everything I’ve learned up until this point (which is always evolving) and to hopefully be like a sister to you (a guide) to support you as you navigate your way through life. I am committed to giving you all the tools, practices, knowledge and experiences I have, while also admitted that I don’t have all the answers. Through this podcast, you will learn that you are not alone. I will show you how to experience mental, emotional, and spiritual freedom.

Episode 39: A Conversation About Having a Relationship With Your Shadow Self

1h 1m · Published 18 Dec 19:51

We all have parts of ourselves that we don't want others to see, so we keep them hidden. In this conversation, I'm sharing how I have experienced my shadow self and have learned how to have a healthy relationship with the parts of me that I used to feel shame or embarrassment around.

Getting to know those shadow aspects of yourself doesn't have to be a daunting experience. This practice must be done without judgement or shame. We all have parts of ourselves that we want to keep hidden, or that we are unaware are unconsciously not being supportive towards ourselves.

I hope this episode will help you have a more loving relationship with your shadow self because all parts of what makes you, YOU, even the parts that you want to keep in the shadows, needs love.

Episode 34: Who You Want To Be Is Actually Who You Are

24m · Published 04 Nov 18:20

In this solo share, I'm sharing a practice about connecting with your authentic self. I believe that who we want to be, and what we admire in other people, is actually a part of our authentic selves. We just forget because we don't see ourselves that way. My hope is that practice will help you remember and give you a true north compass to follow.
