April Angel: It's Not Always Just A Dream

47m · Published 27 Mar 08:00

TRIGGER WARNINGS: *Depression and Anxiety* *Childhood Neglect and Abuse*

In this episode, Bridget and KeAnna interview April Angel. April talked about her healing from anxiety and depression, and how she used dream interpretation as a guide to heal some deep rooted trauma and unhappiness. She learned from a good friend and her daughter to live joyously by being open minded and allowing herself to live outside of the boxes she had been living in. By seeing the possibilities she set herself free.

April is a dream interpreter, based in Dayton, Ohio who helps spiritual seekers understand their life purpose, discover their gifts and heal early trauma. She had a spiritual awakening in 2012 and began analyzing her own dreams in 2015 after years of searching and finally finding this Holy Grail of self discovery. Destiny led her to an amazing teacher who showed her how to use her dreams to identify her life purpose, spiritual gifts and personal blocks. Scoring an 8 (out of 10) on the ACE’s childhood trauma test substantiated her need for a deep journey into healing. She has gone from recurring anxiety and depression to experiencing deeper life fulfillment. April became an impassioned dream interpreter and began converting her skills into services since identifying her spiritual gifts and healing her own core wounds.

April uses the Aisling (ASH-ling) Method of dream interpretation in combination with channeling, teaching and counseling to help dreamers dive head first into the life they are meant to be living.

Welcome Back to Season 2

8m · Published 24 Jan 08:00

Because of YOU, we are back for Season 2! Thank you soooo much for all of your support, and for your investment in time, donations, and positivity. We are so grateful and appreciative. TTT has taught us so much about ourselves and about the importance of healing. We knew the benefits of healing going into our first season, but this journey has shown us the power of being vulnerable and transparent 10-fold, because of the impact Season 1 created. And we could not have done that without you all.

So, we're back to provide more value, more impact, and more healing. We invite you to tune in as we continue this very important work.

Trigger Warnings: *Family Dysfunction* *Daddy Issues* *Suffering in Silence*

It was an honor to be interviewed by my co-host, Bridget Flaherty in this bonus episode. Bridget and I wanted you all to get to know us, the women behind TTT. You all hear and see what appears to be the finished product, but we are both still a work in progress. And in this episode, I share my journey of healing, from beginning to present day. A phrase I have tatted on my right forearm sums this episode up pretty well, "the process produces the product". My process/healing journey has produced and molded me into the woman I am today. I am not merely what you all see and hear now, it took a rollercoaster of a ride to get me here, and it wasn't without bumps and bruises. AND, I am still becoming, so stay tuned.

I hope someone can resonate with my story and be empowered to trust yourself, the process, and more importantly, your higher being, and for me that is God. You'll need to have trust and faith in order to endure and to persevere on the journey, and for it all to make sense.

TRIGGER WARNINGS *suicide* *self-harm* *abuse*

Hello! Bridget, here! Thank you for supporting season one. We are excited to begin recording season 2. In the meantime, as hosts, we have decided to share a little about our own stories.

The abuse of my childhood led to choosing abuse relationships in adulthood, perpetuating the cycle until, in the depths, I wanted out of this life. It was here, in the bottom, where I chose to look up and begin the healing journey.

Anikka Masey: Finding the Strength to Prioritize Self

35m · Published 28 Nov 08:00

TRIGGER WARNINGS *Family obligations* *Caregiving*

In this episode, Bridget and KeAnna interview Anikka Masey, who shares her journey of finding the strength to prioritize herself in a life where she’s always served others above herself. As a result of beginning therapy for the first time in her life, Anikka found herself asking herself the question “Who am I, really?” And from that point on Anikka has been unlocking and unpacking all the things that has contributed to how she shows up so that she can live a more fulfilling life.

Experiencing a whirlwind of family trauma (illness and death) all at once, Anikka found herself on the verge of coming undone, and finally chose to do things differently. Since beginning therapy, Anikka has been getting the tools that she needs to better manage herself and her responsibilities, and empowering her family to do the same. She has been modeling for her family what it takes to heal, and for them not to rely on her as “Super Woman”. Anikka is taking on a new super power, self preservation, so that her and her family will be better off.

A Dayton native, Anikka is a devoted wife, a loving mother of 2 and dedicated daughter. For over 24years Anikka has served her community by encouraging, empowering and uplifting women through beauty services. In 2004 she opened Girlfriends beauty salon. While nurturing a sizable clientele, Anikka has mentored many successful salon professionals in the Dayton area.

In recent years Anikka has shifted her focus to wellness, she became a certified Trichologist in 2019, seeking the root cause of hair loss for many of her clients. During her studies she learned about the benefits hemp. She has since witnessed its magic in her life and the lives of her loved ones. Now as an advocate for alternative therapies, Anikka is on a mission to educate her community on the natural options available to them.

Anikka and her husband, Thomas also started New Season Wellness, a CBD one stop shop available online and at their storefront located in Englewood, Ohio. Their mission is to enhance their community’s health and wellness by bringing awareness to cannabinoids and their benefits. https://newseasonwellnesscbd.com/

The key to being a successful entrepreneur is continued learning and pivoting quickly, Anikka says. She attributes her relationship with Christ and seeking therapy as essential to staying grounded. At 47 yrs old Anikka considers this a New Season, as she stands on the scripture Isaiah 43:19, “Behold I will do a new thing, do you not see it?”. A true season of trust and new beginnings.
