Nicole McKoy is a Black woman on a journey—exploring the many shades and phases of her personality, emotions, healing, compassion, empathy and, most importantly, her faith in God. Nicole is a Master of Social Work, a Certified Housing Asset Manager, a Board President, and an affordable housing operations consultant...as a human DOING. Nicole is based in St. Louis.

In this episode, KeAnna and Bridget interview Ashmiel Goland, a survivor of childhood abuse, who travels to Peru to participate in a guided Ayahuasca ceremony that becomes a catalyst for her healing journey. Exploring how ancient medicines and body work can heal trauma stored in the body, Ashmiel vulnerably shares her story.

Ashmiel is a massage therapist, energy healer, conscious sexuality educator and Hakomi student. She found her passion of serving other women along the healing path by way of searching for her own. She lives in Portland Oregon.
