Richard Corbally is a distinctive character. He is honest (at times brutally so), eccentric and expressive. He strives for a wide variety of experiences in life, and the scope of his mind is matched accordingly.
In our conversation we discuss his critical and perseverant character, his varied experience with his emotional wellbeing, his thoughts on antidepressants, the importance of comedy in his life and more.

In 2015, Laura Gilsenan wrote a “Cashface Story” sharing her struggles in the hope of reducing the stigma and silence linked to revealing our emotional selves. I had the pleasure of living with Laura in 1st year of college and she is a joyous, incredibly friendly and strong lady.
In this episode of the All About YEW podcast, Laura reads her story, we discuss the story, her struggles with bereavement and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, and how she has become a much healthier person. I hope you enjoy, and when you’ve finished listening, please send your feedback to the YEWface Facebook page.

We can all be too hard on ourselves. Myself and my 3rd guest, David Smith, are no different. After having a great conversation about David's emotional wellbeing, we whipped ourselves for being too serious, and decided to record a second chat titled Episode 4.5.
After editing the conversation we felt that we had in fact had a fruitful conversation on both occasions, and that both chats made for a good insight into David's emotional wellbeing and his philosophy on life.
In Episode 4 myself and David talk about his experience with luck, education, maturity, as well as his love of journalism.
In Episode 4.5 we discuss “gallows humour”, my sensitive side, crying, bereavement and more.
Please send your feedback on this conversation to the YEW Facebook page. It is with your insight that the YEW project can reach its fullest potential.

Today’s guest is Cormac Ryan. I was introduced to Cormac through his interview with the Independent, titled "Anguish Banished by the Fortitude of Hurling’s Family". This fantastic article served as a major piece of inspiration for me going public with my own story. Cormac is an articulate, genuine and intelligent man whose words resonate with me greatly. In our conversation we discuss how he came to share his emotional experiences in that Independent article, his Cycle for Life initiative, guilt, challenging oneself, ego, grace and much more. Please message your feedback on this conversation and the YEW project to the YEW Facebook page. With your insight the project will be able to make a real difference.

Conor, also known as The Bearded Man, shares his emotional experiences in this episode. He articulates his entrepreneurial spirit, reflects on his time in college, reveals the high esteem in which he holds others and also shares tools he uses to feel better when he is struggling with his emotional wellbeing.
A dear friend of mine, he is a very passionate and expressive man. He has a unique character and is true to himself. He is someone who cares deeply for other people. He sees the value of humanity and realises that although he is an individual, his success is dependent upon the decency and kindness of others. This decency and kindness is something Conor inspires in you when he talks. He is an absolute gentleman and it was a privilege to record a conversation with him.
