BioSoul Integration Podcast

Whether we're talking about physical, psychological or spiritual pain, the foundation for that pain is ultimately life force energy that has been sequestered. Life force energy is the force that animates the whole universe to life. A subset of that flows through our bodies and informs us on every level from the physical to the spiritual. From entraining to the people around us when we're in the womb to the hurts and traumas and accidents we encounter thereafter, life force energy is sequestered our of a perceived need to survive. Ironically that same life force energy contains the wisdom and intelligence of our soul and the solution to any pain or problem that is associated with it.

If you really want to transform your pain, eventually you're going to have to look at it through the lens of your heart. Attention plus love equals presence. When you can do that the energy that was bound up in pain becomes wisdom for your body and life.

It's relatively cheap to heal your pain. It will cost you an internal resource that's abundantly available at all times. I'm referring, simply, to your attention. There's an enzyme of sorts in your attention that catalyzes the process of healing, that is the process of extracting the energy that is bound up in pain along with the wisdom that it has for our bodies and lives. And toward the end of the video I lead a little guided meditation to show you how to heal pain.

Any one kind of pain that we experience is actually a combination of three different kinds of pain: physical, psychological and spiritual. In the real world of experience these pains exist as a tangled up knot. If we want to resolve pain we've got to address all of these different kinds of pain.

Pain is actually an integral part of life. Pain has an important purpose in our live and plays an important role. Our culture has a tendency to want to push pain or discomfort of any sort away. But in doing so we're pushing a part of life and important parts of ourselves away. If we can accept that pain is part of life and has a purpose we can leverage pain for our great benefit.
