This weeks podcast is with Kate Smyth – Olympic endurance runner and now Naturopath and Director of Athletes Sanctuary.

Kate developed her passion for holistic medicine during her career as an elite endurance athlete competing in the women’s marathon (42.2km) for Australia at the Olympic and Commonwealth Games. In this podcast we dive into Kate’s own journey through her running career, and some of the issues she’s sees with runners in her clinic.

This podcast was plagued a little by technical issues due to power surges so there is around 10 minutes where the quality of the recording is not as good – but please hang in there as it does improve and I don’t want you to miss the gold that Kate has to share.

Natural Podiatrist Andy Bryant talks all things barefoot and the benefits

51m · Published 10 Jun 22:04
Andy Bryant is a Melbourne based natural podiatrist and self confessed foot nerd! Andy describes himself as a proud dad, husband, son and sibling.  A once mad runner and cyclist, he now enjoys more natural movement like yoga, walking the dog or a non- competitive jog. In recent years, Andy stepped away from a secure podiatry job to follow a ‘niggle’ which has led to his now thriving work, treating and educating people about the benefits and importance of letting feet be free and natural.  You will see from this conversation that Andy is a gifted educator. He is passionate about natural podiatry and shares today about why barefoot is best and how modern shoes are the root cause of many modern feet issues.  I encourage you to listen and also check out the full video interview on Andy’s website - www.melbournenaturalpodiatry.com.au where he uses tools to educate whilst we talk - definitely worth watching.
