Ep 45: How To Create Pleasure In Your Relationship

21m · Published 12 Apr 10:00
So many women want more intimacy and pleasure in their relationship. They want to be able to enjoy connection - emotional and physical with their partner.

It can feel like so much is in the way of that. With our own busy lives and our partner's busy lives, raising kids, and dealing with the emotional weight of keeping things running smoothly, is there space for pleasure?

Is there time for joy?

Is there time for connection and intimacy?

I believe there is. I believe having more pleasure in your relationship, starts in your mind. It begins with taking moments to get in touch with your own joy and pleasure throughout your day.

When you do so, you’ll give your nervous system permission to chill.

And when your nervous system chills the f out … your body, mind, and soul are ready … ready to welcome pleasure. In all areas!

Ep 44: Let's Dance, Mama! With Jo Ryan

34m · Published 05 Apr 10:00

Mothering is the hardest job in the world. At least it was for me.

Building my own business is a piece of cake when it compares to the exhaustion and sheer desperation I felt at times with loving my 3 kids so intensely.

And because mothering can be difficult, it’s normal to want a break from it all. It’s normal to feel overwhelmed and question yourself constantly.

And unfortunately, it’s normal for women to lose their joy during different phases of mothering.

And no, this does not mean we’re not good enough mothers. It doesn’t mean we don’t love our kids enough. It simply means it’s time to tap into that joy that’s deep inside of you again.

In today’s episode, I talk with Joy Ryan about how to bring joy into motherhood again. Jo is the mother of 3 beautiful children and a Life Coach who helps moms find their joy again.

Listen to be inspired! You’re going to love Jo Ryan as much as I do!

Yet that’s as far as you get … The dream never left your mind - for long anyway. Because you’re waiting for the motivation to get started.

So you continue to wish you were already at the goal. The effort to get there just seems like too much.

And then, once again, like a fleeting memory, that motivation disappears. And you’re back to where you started, wishing the dream were already accomplished.

You’re not alone. I’ve been there.

So today I’m talking about why motivation isn’t necessary to achieve your goals. Whether it’s health goals, relationship goals, or massive dreams - motivation isn’t gonna get you there.

But what will? Listen to today’s episode to find out what will.

42: Rekindle Your Marriage, Day 5

25m · Published 22 Mar 11:00
In today's episode, you'll hear Day 5 of The Rekindle Your Marriage Workshop.

Y
ou’ll hear the importance of investing in two of your most important assets: Your mind and your marriage. Studies have shown the best use of one's time and money is in their own emotional wellness and relationships.

Your mind and marriage are more important than any material items or experience you could buy ... because the latter ... is temporary. But your Mind and your Relationships are not.

If you're a married woman ... and especially a married woman with kids, you are not used to investing in yourself.

For me, during much of my marriage and parenting, I came last. Not because others were trying to put me last ... but because I put myself last.

Then one day I realized that the best thing I could do to help my family was to take incredible care of my own mental, emotional, and physical well-being.

After that, I realized the next best thing I could do for myself and my family, was to do my part in creating a marriage that was whole and healthy.

Brain fitness + Relationship fitness = a pretty incredible life.

Listen on to find out why.
