This week we're off to LA to speak to Jye Frasca!

After growing up in Australia, Jye trained in London and had an incredible West End career. He appeared in West Side Story, Mamma Mia, Cats, Anything Goes, Love’s Labour Lost, We Will Rock You, Thrill Me and Mary Poppins. He was also part of the original West End casts of Wicked and Jersey Boys.

After moving to America, Jye took over as Frankie Valli in the Las Vegas production of Jersey Boys before making his Broadway debut as Boq in Wicked for the musical's 15th anniversary!

In this episode, Jye discusses his career from making his West End debut as a swing in West Side Story to being a principal on Broadway. He discusses how Idina Menzel's advice helped him conquer his performance as Frankie Valli, what it was like to start afresh when he moved to America and why he hopes to one day return to the London stage.

Having recently completed her run as the alternate Tina in Tina The Musical, Jenny Fitzpatrick is currently starring in The World Goes ‘Round at the Barn Theatre in Cirencester. She can also be seen in the upcoming online revival of Godspell for the Hope Mill Theatre.

Jenny made her professional debut in Henry IV Part I, A Midsummer Night's Dream and Camelot at the Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre.

(West End), Louise & understudy Oda Mae Brown in Ghost The Musical (Manchester/West End), Delores in Sister Act (Aberystwyth), A Pacificst's Guide To The War On Cancer (National Theatre), Muzzy in Thoroughly Modern Millie (UK Tour) and Lucius/Centurion in Boudica (Globe).

Having played Tina Turner in the 2013 UK tour of Soul Sister, Jenny was the alternate Tina Turner in the original West End cast of Tina The Musical. On screen, Jenny has been seen in The Alienist, Mi High V 'Patient' and EastEnders.

Janie Dee is a theatrical icon, having worked extensively in both the UK and New York throughout her career.

Just a few recent highlights from Janie's career include playing Phyllis Rogers Stone in Follies (National Theatre), title role in Linda (Talent Works NY), Margery in Hand To God (West End), Arkadina in The Seagull (Regent's Park), Essie in Ah Wilderness (Young Vic), Ruth in Blithe Spirit (West End, alongside Angela Lansbury), Putting It Together (St James), title role in Hello Dolly as well as Anna in The King & I (both Leicester Curve) and Belinda Blair in Noises Off (Old Vic).

Janie won an Olivier Award for her performance as Carrie Pipperidge in the National Theatre's 1992 production of Carousel.

Janie is currently preparing to reprise her acclaimed performance as Desiree in A Little Night Music for a socially distanced, one-night concert staging at Holland Park. The show sold out in just six minutes.

She will then take to the stage at Crazy Coqs to perform her new one-woman cabaret, Janie Dee: New Life. Prior to lockdown, Janie was producing the London Climate Change Festival at the Charing Cross Theatre which has been postponed until theatres reopen.

In this episode, Janie candidly discusses returning to A Little Night Music as well as preparations for her new cabaret, work/life balance, how it felt to return to the National Theatre for Follies and why she was slightly relieved that her Climate Change Festival was postponed.
