In this vulnerable conversation between Rebecca Jones and Jamie Sigler O'Grady, we discuss difficulties in career and how to overcome them. Jamie is the founder of J Public Relations; a private travel PR agency with offices in California, New York, London, and Toronto. She explains to us that from a young age she was taught to have resilience from experiences she faced in her childhood. This tenacity allowed Jamie to go on and build JPR from the ground up into a successful company. She explains to the listeners her biggest difficulty of losing more than 70% of her business at the start of the Covid-19 pandemic. Despite the seemingly impossible odds, she fought to keep her employees and save her business. Jamie explains that the low points of our careers allow for us to be far more grateful for the highs.

She explains how the she has "taken the worst thing that happened to her and flipped the script". Through the foundation she has lobbied in DC to pass "Carrie's Law" which would remove arbitration and confidentiality clauses when working at a company. Carrie goes on to explain how her foundation has given a voice to the voiceless.
