Inaction is also Action

12m · Published 24 May 09:00

Let me ask you this… if you’re faced with a big decision right now, what are you waiting for? Why are you hesitating to take action?

When we’re faced with a big decision or forward momentum, it can be tempting to wait when the going gets scary. Sit back and not take any action at all.

In this episode of To The Point Podcast, let me break down why we don’t sometimes achieve what we desire, the differences between action and inaction, and how to live a rewarding life.

So, I hope you take time to listen and think through everything about both action and inaction in your life.

What was missing? A mentor.

How do I find my rhythm in doing all the things that I do now?

Let me share my story with you today. It was over 5 years ago when I was running a team and transitioning our construction company into a new business partnership. I appeared to have it all together but I was experiencing massive overwhelm with the robust amount of responsibilities and obligations I had from everyone. Sound familiar?

Well, I was used to high volumes of obligations but the weight of the overwhelm was like never before, until one day when a dear mentor posed a question that changed everything for me as an entrepreneur.  What is different today than when you were thriving as an employee?

In this episode of To The Point Podcast, I share how this reflection set me up to recognize that I had succeeded in both business and personal through mentorship. This is probably the closest episode to my heart as it changes how I perceived myself in all aspects of my life. I do not need to go alone.

May this episode set you up to identify what you really need to succeed.

7 steps to eliminate your fears

36m · Published 28 Dec 10:00

After being forced to face many fears this year; whether death, separation, release of old identities, acknowledgment and accountability of where Jodie has held herself back and owning that honesty, Jodie goes deep into what fears are and how it is time to embrace them to allow growth.

Learning that the ideals wrapped around the vision of her versus the realities she was not willing to notice, she had created a teeter totter lifestyle between grounding into her authentic self with ease, faith and trust and holding onto the old paradigm of being that gave her a false sense of worth, purpose, and value.

Thank you 2021.

This episode identifies three common types of fears and seven actionable steps to help you overcome your fears.

She closes with an invitation to work with her in 2022. Reach out to her at jodiegallant.com or on Instagram Jodie Gallant. With limited opportunity, she is accepting applications for leaders ready to face their fears and reach their fullest potential and build their brand, community and enhance their lifestyle.
