17: Heal Your Inner Child

56m · Published 01 Aug 23:00

Oh my goodness friends!!

I truly cannot believe this moment is finally here. It was early in 2019 when I was feeling burnt out, depressed, and truly unsure of how I could keep going. I loved my job and I loved helping my clients but I felt exhausted by the wounds I had been carrying and I entered into what I know now is called, "The Dark Night of the Soul." I dug in deep, I dealt with all my trauma in a new and profound way, and I reparented myself in a way that allowed me the safety needed to be fully seen.

I started to say no to what wasn't serving me and I said YES to all that lit me up, even just the tiniest bit. I wrote in my journal that I felt it was my purpose to help others heal as I had. I have dreamt of creating a program like Conscious Healing for so long.... and I'm so thrilled to tell you: IT'S HERE!!

The Conscious Healing Program's Inner Child workshop launches MONDAY AUGUST 2!! The 8 week coaching program will start on August 18.

This episode will help you learn more about what that will be like and the importance of allowing our wounds to come into consciousness so that we can heal them. The recent workshop I had was so incredible that I decided to include it in this episode. After a brief intro you will get to experience the live workshop!

There is a meditation piece ( @ 25 mins) so I encourage you to experience it as you would. Bring to a mind a recent trigger and let it lead you back to the wound.

The Journal Prompt:
1. What trigger came to mind? How is it making you feel? Any physical sensations present?
2. What was the wounding behind the trigger? Describe in detail what you experienced.

Are you ready to reparent and heal your wounds? Trust me when I tell you, it's worth it. Own your past so that you can move toward a more authentic, healthier, and joy filled life.

SIGN UP TODAY!

Not sure yet? Send me a DM!! Let's talk about it and see if CHP would be a good fit for you.

I hope you enjoy this episode.

With gratitude,
Rox xx

Welcome back to Talk with Rox podcast friends!

I'm so grateful you're here for this amazing episode with none other than Elyse Resch. Elyse is one of the originators of Intuitive Eating, an author,  and renowned nutrition therapist in Beverly Hills, CA. I was so honored she was able to join us and share her many wisdoms on this episode!

I came to know Elyse in 2007 when I was fed up struggling with my eating disorder. She and her intuitive eating principals helped me heal and find body liberation and food freedom.

On this episode we talk about how intuitive eating started, the principals of intuitive eating, and how inner child wounds can result in food and body image issues, including eating disorders. We often think about eating disorders as a shallow, media induced disease, when in reality it is a coping skill to trauma.  We talk about the common wounds present in those who struggle with food and how healing the inner child is an integral piece of recovery.  As well as the spiritual side of feeding and caring for our physical body.

Please enjoy this informative and fun conversation. I even ask her thoughts on *intuitive fasting* gasp!!!

15: Write to Heal

46m · Published 21 Jun 03:00

Hi friends! Welcome back to Talk with Rox.

Today we are talking about writing and how we can use a writing practice to help us heal our wounds.  We will be talking with Megan Febuary who is a writer, a book coach, and healer in her own right about writing to heal.

I have been journaling since I was a little girl and now use an intuitive writing practice where I channel spirit energy through words. I talk about how stories and characters are energy. Ideas that are circling us in energetic form and can be received through intuitive downloads by humans. We see this with religion and how many similar concepts are found all over the globe at similar times pre internet and easy travel. I share about Elizabeth Gilbert’s take on this in her book Big Magic.

I also share more about my novel, In Every Life, and the intuitive writing practice I used to channel this story and characters. I meditate for 10-20 minutes before each time I sit down to write. Whether I am writing fiction or just writing in my journal I do this ritual.

I talk with Megan on her many beautiful offerings and how she views the writing to heal practice. She talks about many interesting topics from the shadow artist to how to face resistance. I am tagging her page here and you can follow her along on IG @MeganFebuary spelled the way you think February should be spelled!!

If you are interesting in learning more about the shadow artist or the wounding that many of us have around creativity. Check out Julia’s book here and Megan actually has a really great interview with her on her podcast which is called the book year podcast. So be sure to check that out as well.

I believe writing is a sacred practice and an incredibly useful tool when it comes to healing our inner child and subconscious beliefs. I have made journaling an integral part of The Conscious Healing Program and firmly believe in its healing ability.

The two best things you can add to your mental health tool kit are meditation and journaling. Make sure you are following along with me on IG @talkwithrox as I will be posting some great content this week, including some journal prompts to help you reparent the inner child.

As always, if you are enjoying this podcast please like, follow, share and head to my website talkwithrox.com to drop your email in and be the first to know when the workshop opens and the program launches.

I’m so so excited for all the beautiful things to come to help you begin your healing practice.

Please enjoy this interesting and fun conversation about writing with Megan!

With gratitude,

Rox

14: Past Lives and Quantum Healing

45m · Published 07 Jun 03:00

Welcome conscious friends!

Today we are talking about past lives in conversation with past life regressionist, Jeroen De Wit. He practices the Dolores Canon Method of QHHT to help clients access these subconscious memories and was trained directly by her.

Jeroen has helped many clients regress and find healing through exploring other lifetimes. He famously worked with Lou Gehrig's mother, who went on to write a book called: "The Boy Who Knew too much."

QHHT is short for Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technique and is a form of meditation that allows us to access these deeply rooted subconscious memories. From this lifetime, past, future, and ones we may not even have the capacity to fully understand with our human brain.

I talk about how this sort of healing can help us understand our current life more. How our souls choose our parents, our wounds, and traumatic experience in order to help us grow and therefore help source continue to expand. I also share about my own experience with past life regression, seeing souls that I know from this lifetime that have been with me before.

This is definitely an episode that will leave you wanting more!! I plan to do a regression with him in the near future and would love to invite him on again for a part 2 where we can get deeper with these ideas and unpacking the experience. If this sparks any questions in you please feel free to email or DM me with them.

Jeroen is an incredible soul and I am linking his website here so that you can reach out to him if you want to book a session and you can find him on IG @jeroenislove.

I share about Dr. Brian Weiss and his work as a psychiatrist and falling upon past lives with a patient. His book can be found here.

As always, I greatly appreciate your presence and ask that you subscribe and review the podcast. Please share this episode with people in your community who you think may enjoy or be moved by this topic.

13: Conscious Parenting

49m · Published 24 May 03:00

Hello friends! Welcome back.

Today we’re talking about conscious parenting with two parents from Los Angeles, California Jonathan and Lindsey Barr are two of my dearest friends. They come from diverse backgrounds  and are parents to a two year old daughter and pregnant with their next daughter due later this summer.

They join me in conversations about conscious parenting, the joy, the challenges, and the goals toward creating more conscious people and healing generational wounds.

Conscious parenting is coined by Dr. Shefali Tsabary  in her book and is rooted in a combination of eastern and western philosophy. Expanding on attachment theory’s beliefs that babies learn to trust and thrive when their needs are consistently met by a caregiver early in life.

Conscious parenting is seeing our children as their own spirit who as all intimate relationships provide will mirror our own inner child wounding and limiting beliefs to us. Recognizing them as their own beings who we can help cultivate toward authenticity.

In order for parents to be able to attune and be conscious this way they would need for their own needs of safety, health, and basic human rights in place in order to fully attune to their children and the feelings within themselves.

Please enjoy this conversation and share it with parents of all kind and those with a desire for reparenting their own inner child.

If you like what you hear and want more, check out my website here. Sign up for my newsletter while you're there to stay up to date on The Conscious Healing Program (releasing in August!!) and receive updates on the show and upcoming workshops.

12: Reparenting

29m · Published 10 May 03:00

Welcome friends!

Today we are talking about reparenting inner child wounds. What this means, how it's done, and how we can reprogram our wounded self at the cellular level with hypnotic meditation.

Reparenting is defined as the process of going back to the stage in which the adult was wronged as a child, and satisfying or making peace with the inner child hidden inside. It's becoming aware of our feelings, our wound, understanding our need, or the rejected aspects of self, and attuning to them. It's parenting our wounded inner voice from a conscious and healthy space.

Reprogramming is known as the process of healing the subconscious wounds experienced through repetition using hypnotic meditations to create new neural pathways.

In my course we will be using sound healing guided meditations to help you take your processing further into your subconscious.  These meditations are different than your average calming meditation and should be done with intention and the accompaniment of a journaling process to further understand and solidify the changes you would like to see.

If you would like a taste of this meditation style then drop your email in here: https://www.talkwithrox.com/the-conscious-healing-program.html and I will send you a safe space meditation from my course to try!

Thank you for listening and becoming a witness to your inner child!

xxo,
Rox
