12: Reparenting

29m · Published 10 May 03:00

Welcome friends!

Today we are talking about reparenting inner child wounds. What this means, how it's done, and how we can reprogram our wounded self at the cellular level with hypnotic meditation.

Reparenting is defined as the process of going back to the stage in which the adult was wronged as a child, and satisfying or making peace with the inner child hidden inside. It's becoming aware of our feelings, our wound, understanding our need, or the rejected aspects of self, and attuning to them. It's parenting our wounded inner voice from a conscious and healthy space.

Reprogramming is known as the process of healing the subconscious wounds experienced through repetition using hypnotic meditations to create new neural pathways.

In my course we will be using sound healing guided meditations to help you take your processing further into your subconscious.  These meditations are different than your average calming meditation and should be done with intention and the accompaniment of a journaling process to further understand and solidify the changes you would like to see.

If you would like a taste of this meditation style then drop your email in here: https://www.talkwithrox.com/the-conscious-healing-program.html and I will send you a safe space meditation from my course to try!

Thank you for listening and becoming a witness to your inner child!

Rox

11: ASMR

25m · Published 26 Apr 03:00

Hi guys! Welcome back to my podcast. Thank you for being patient while I've been sorting through other things in my life. I am so grateful to be back with you today and talking about ASMR.

ASMR= autonomous sensory meridian response. That's the tingling sensation you feel running down like an electric current, from the back of your head to your spine.

It feels euphoric and leaves you relaxed.

Benefits of ASMR include:

-Stress relief
- Better sleep
- Tingles euphoria, many call orgasmic
- Pain relief
- self soothing/ emotional regulation
- Not feeling alone

It can be helpful for managing symptoms of anxiety and the sensory sensitivity that those with Autism Spectrum disorders experience.

There is also the ASMR Mukbang (Korean word for "eating show") many use these to encourage eating in eating disorder recovery but could be triggering to some. Take it with a grain of salt and check in with yourself first!

If you like to check out some ASMR creators go to youtube and search for Karuna Satori. She was the first asmr creator I experienced and has hundreds of videos!

If you liked this episode I would really love it if you leave a review so more people can find us and we can start to create our own healing and supportive community, Be sure to subscribe so you know when the next episode is up!

And visit talkwithrox.com and @talkwithrox on IG for more ASMR content coming to you this week!

10: Manifestation

34m · Published 22 Mar 15:00

Hello!

Welcome and thank you for being here! Today I talk about the practice of manifestation. From its ancient roots to the way it  seems to  resurge on trend very few years. I break down the essence of manifestation to help demystify this tool and show you how you too can manifest!

The main components are:
1. Hold awareness of the fact that everything is energy and we project our reality from the subconscious space
2. Raise your level of self-worth and deservingness through conscious healing of shadow and wounds
3. Stay open to receiving and remain in trust
4. Take action steps toward your manifestation

I also share about the things and people I've manifested into my life. I discuss my active manifestation and the creation of my novel plus it's future in publication.

Make sure you subscribe to this podcast and follow me on IG @talkwithrox for more on CHP and manifestation content to come.

Happy healing xo

9: Triggers and Projections

29m · Published 08 Mar 12:00

Hello! Welcome back to Talk with Rox!

This is a meaty episode on triggers. projections, and subconscious wound narrative we form about our childhood wounds.

The world is a mirror to the subconscious beliefs imprinted in the early childhood stage of life. The people in your life are there to project back to you the areas that need healing or ownership. They will help you grow, and with your purpose in life, or make sense of the lessons you’re needing to learn in this lifetime. But sometimes, they reflect parts of us that are more difficult to accept. And now these parts of self have become a trigger: resulting in an activated response system, emotional dysregulation, and feelings of low self worth.

By learning how to bring these wounds to the conscious mind using the Conscious Healing program then you are no longer ruled by your triggers and activated responses.

By making sense of your projections, understanding why something is bothering you, will help you heal you it. You can own your shadow self, you can understand why certain things trigger you and this will allow you to begin creating change and reintegration.

Make sure you check out: Talkwithrox.com  and let me know what you think on IG @talkwithrox

8: Attachment Styles

30m · Published 14 Feb 04:00

Hello, I'm so grateful you're here and that our podcast community is growing.

Today we are going to take a deeper look into the different attachment styles. There are 4 main styles of attachment. They are: secure, anxious/preoccupied, fearful avoidant, and dismissive avoidant. We go through what these all mean and how they may look in adult relationships. We discuss possible triggers and behaviors that are meant for protection from fears of abandonment or rejection but often are unhealthily expressed. We also look at what the secures do differently and how they are able to open, communicative, and trusting that their needs will be met.

Be sure to follow up along on @talkwithrox as I will be sharing some questions you can start to ask yourself as you work toward healing your attachment and finding trust in your own voice and ability to meet your needs. Working with a therapist is one of the best and most effective ways of healing your attachment, be sure to check out my website at talkwithrox.com if you are interested in working together and stay up to date on when my Conscious Healing program comes out as it will have an attachment component!

Thank you and Happy Valentine's Day! xx

7: Attachment Theory

23m · Published 01 Feb 04:00

Hello and welcome to love month!

This month we will look at how attachment style and subconscious beliefs about relationship impact our bonds and our ability to attract healthy conscious relationships. In today's episode we start to look at the theory behind attachment and how it develops during those early formative 0-7 years of life. We talk about different psychologists and the work they did to add to the development of this psychoanalytic theory.

Here are some of the links I talk about in the show.  Starting with this article I wrote on why you should care about attachment. The monkey experiment here.  Alain De Boton from The School of Life's ted talk.  And if you would like to find out your own attachment style take the quiz here.

Thank you for tuning in! Make sure to sign up to be notified about Conscious Healing when it launches in the spring at talkwithrox.com and follow along @talkwithrox for more on attachment theory this month!
