Ep108. The Strangest Secret By Earl Nightingale Reveals The Secret To Creating Wealth.

21m · Published 24 Aug 05:00

Earl Nightingale's The Strangest Secret is one of my top 10 books for creating wealth and success. The author lays out concepts very similar to many other powerful books such as Think and Grow Rich, As a Man Thinketh, and The Science of Getting Rich. In fact, all of these books say the same thing, and I've developed my 3C Creation Process around these books and their concepts. In this episode I dive into one page of the book which unpacks the creation process.

The primary elements of this episode are:

  1. Thoughts are creative, and whatever you hold in mind for a prolonged period of time becomes true in your life. You get to choose what you focus on, and what you focus on always comes to pass.
  2. Since what we focus on comes to pass, if you focus on what you don't want, you are creating what you don't want. Be certain that you can have whatever you choose, and focus.
  3. The amount of time required for your vision to come to realization is not up to you and none of your business. Remain committed, and it will come to pass, but maybe not on your timing. Patience is your ally.

Ep107. Want To Create Real Wealth? Practice Healthy Selfishness.

27m · Published 17 Aug 05:00

So many people struggle with money. Almost all problems with money can be traced back to a poor money mindset and an unhealthy relationship with money. Have you ever been told that wanting is selfish? How about wanting wealth is greedy? Or that there's a point where you have enough? If you believe, or if you've been taught that wanting is selfish or greedy, or if you feel guilt or shame whenever you want more, you're likely dealing with some unconscious stories about selfishness which are causing you to struggle more than necessary. If you want to create real wealth, practice healthy selfishness.

The primary elements of this episode are:

  1. From the ages of 0-7, you'll believe anything you're taught by people you love and admire. You'll even believe that wanting or wanting more than you need is selfish if that's what they believe. This can set you up for a life of financial struggle and hardship.
  2. Financial margin is a requirement to live financially free, and creating margin in your life is the way to live a full life rich with experiences and adventure. Without financial margin you'll remain in survival mode.
  3. There is not a lack of money in the world. The amount of money in the world expands as people create wealth. We can all be wealthy together, but beliefs about selfishness and greed keep people from fully experiencing the abundance that is available to everyone.

Ep106. From Financial Ruin To Real Estate Agent For Wealthy Athletes. My Discussion With Robert Blase.

59m · Published 10 Aug 05:00

Robert Blase is currently a Real Estate Agent who actively serves the Colorado Rockies and Denver Broncos, as well as countless educators in and around Colorado. Before the economic crash of 2008, Robert was a successful mortgage professional, but the financial chaos caused him and his family to lose everything, and eventually file for bankruptcy.

While fighting for the economic survival of his family, Robert and his wife miscarried two children due to the overwhelming stress.

Even though he applied for hundreds of positions without coming close to employment and with the odds stacked against him, Robert persistently and resiliently entered the Real Estate Agency game and won. He relentlessly worked his way in the door to become known and trusted by the Colorado Rockies for his impeccable integrity, and that has enabled him to close millions of dollars in properties on behalf of Rockies players and other professional athletes.

His commitment and grit enabled him to payoff his bankruptcy, over $50k in student loan debt, hit the reset, and begin to build real wealth for his family.

The primary elements of this episode are:

  1. Robert discusses crushing it in mortgages during the hot markets in the mid-2000's, then losing everything and filing bankruptcy because of the economic collapse. His family needed to live with his wife's grandmother for 11 years while they rebuilt their lives.
  2. When he couldn't get a job, Robert chose to enter the Real Estate Agent game, and that's where he met success because of his unwillingness to quit, and his unwavering commitment to serve his clients and provide for his family.
  3. Today Robert is serves and supports Colorado Rockies and Denver Broncos players during transition, but also when they choose to purchase their mansions. His biggest transaction for a client has been a $3.9 million property, and that helped him wipe out over $50k in student debt and recover from the financial hardships of the past.

Ep105. Fail As Your Future Self Instead Of Succeeding As Your Current Self.

23m · Published 03 Aug 05:00

I am a massive consumer of books and content. I like to share the very best of what I consume with the people I love and serve. I recently read a book titled Be Your Future Self Now by Dr. Benjamin Hardy. This is a great book, and succinctly shares some personal development wisdom in a clear and powerful way. But there was one line in this book that hit me hard. Dr. Hardy suggested to "Fail as your future self instead of succeeding as your current self" so that you can grow into the person capable of creating that powerful future.

The primary elements of this episode are:

  1. I discuss the power of creating a vision for your future life.  If your quality of life is not doubling every 3-5 years, then you're not dreaming big enough. Get clear about what an amazing future life looks like for you so that you can get to work.
  2. You are not capable of creating that new life.  You - as you are currently designed - created this life. You must become the person capable of creating that life. Get clear about what must evolve and develop in order to create the new circumstances.
  3. Wake up each day as that new person. Be that new version of you, now. But don't be surprised if you fail as the new you. It's better to fail as the future you instead of succeed as the current you. That's how you learn to succeed as the future you to create the new future.

Ep104. Recording Of Live Training: The Process To Create Anything You Want.

51m · Published 27 Jul 05:00

In this recording of a live training from July 13, 2023, I share a fun process to create anything you want. This training was pushed out to all of my social media platforms. We aim to do one of these each month. This training is not about goal achievement, but raising the quality of your entire life. Implementing these teachings will change your life. If you like this training, connect with me on social media and attend future sessions!

The primary elements of this episode are:

  1. There is a simple process to create anything you want. When you get clear about what you want in your life, and who you need to become to create that life, you'll start to see life moving you in that direction.
  2. Your current beliefs, thoughts, emotions, actions, and habits got you here, and the same won't get you to higher level circumstances in your life. When you change your personality to become your future self now, you'll begin to create the new life you want.
  3. Waking up each day as your future self, and taking action as your future self will unlock everything that your current self can't create, but your future self can easily create in your life - now.

Ep103. Do You Ever Notice The Psychological Distance To Your Goals?

23m · Published 20 Jul 05:00

Of course you know that you must take action to accomplish your vision and goals, but have you ever noticed the psychological distance to your goals? The psychological distance is the internal resistance you experience when considering your goals or what you want to accomplish. When you dissolve the psychological distance, the tactical distance (the actions required) become much easier, and require less intensity. Make the psychological distance go away, and your desired outcomes become inevitable.

The primary elements of this episode are:

  1. The tactical distance to your vision/goals is about 5% of the total distance to your vision/goals, while the psychological distance is the remaining 95%.
  2. Hustle whores and grind gurus tell you to work harder (on the 5%) while the smarter way of approaching accomplishing anything is to work just as hard or harder on closing the psychological distance by letting go of all doubt and internal resistance to your goals.
  3. The letting go process is noticing any stories you're holding about why you can't have what you want now, and watching them dissolve in your mind. This also releases emotion which was buried underneath the story.
  4. Releasing internal resistance makes all action more intense and effective.
