UNDERSTANDING MASCULINE AND FEMININE ENERGY | TOXIC & DIVINE TRAITS

37m · Published 06 Jan 18:06

Hey Guys! In this episode we discuss the divine masculine and the divine feminine. Masculine traits and feminine traits, and how if any of these traits are left unbalanced by lack of the other, it can lead to problems on a personal level, and on a social level. These untethered traits, left to their own devices without consciousness bringing them back to balance, can lead to toxic masculinity and toxic femininity. We discuss how masculine traits don’t just appear in men, and how feminine traits don’t just appear in women and we also discuss how a greater acceptance of masculine women and feminine men may limit gender dysphoria and the epidemic of confused children.

WHY DO WE GET JEALOUS IN RELATIONSHIPS & HAS POSSESSION BEEN NORMALISED?

9m · Published 27 May 16:30

In this mini clip from our episode “IS JEALOUSY NORMAL TO EXPERIENCE” we discuss some of the ramifications of living in monogamy.

Monogamy is based on possession, humans become akin to property. This is all fine if you are aware of the ramifications of living in such an unnatural state, but you have to remain aware. However if you don’t keep an eye on things, falling into a bleak relationship with high amounts of jealousy, expectations and control is easily done.  Yes, your partner should not have sex with another person, but when the bar gets moved and they can’t even talk to a member of the opposite sex, or like photos on social media without it becoming a problem, the relationship can quickly become a prison.  Non-monogamy and monogamy both come with difficult to navigate situations. We have to remain aware, and constantly introspect.

DEALING WITH JEALOUSY & INSECURITIES IN NON-MONOGAMY || UNCONDITIONAL LOVE

8m · Published 14 Apr 17:00
In this mini clip we discuss how allowing people to be themselves is real love. Fully accepting people is real love and not control and expectation, which is how a lot of relationships tend to be. Controlling you partner, and creating conditions in your relationship that the other has to obey may give you short term ‘security’ but in the long term these controls often cause partners to feel unaccepted and repressed. They often cause partners to feel choked an unhappy. Love is not control, expectations, conditions and possession. Love is freedom and it is unconditional. Accepting people how they are, not forcing them to be exactly what you expect. Non-monogamy for us is the ultimate display of acceptance. Having the bravery to allow your partner to be intimate with another person, with so much on the line, is an impressive example of acceptance and unconditional love. Facing your insecurities head on. They say the cave you fear to enter, holds the treasure you seek. As always if you have any questions about this please do comment below! IS INTUITIVE EATING BETTER FOR US? WHY NOT CARING ABOUT OTHER'S OPINIONS IS SO IMPORTANT FOR US

2m · Published 07 Apr 17:00

In this mini episode we discuss the problems that come from over-prioritising the opinions of other people when it comes to your physical looks. Constantly bombarded with pictures in the media of how you should look? Or trying to live up to men’s expectation of beauty? These things do not need your focus, they can pull you away from intuitive eating and cause more weight problems than they solve. And since when did acting in a way to make others happy make us happy? It’s much more important to dismiss the opinions of others, and once you are free from these opinions, your intuitive eating will keep your body where it is supposed to be. Childhood trauma can also cause eating problems, not just the pressure of society. So make sure to work on your childhood trauma as well as dismissing the socially conditioned opinions of others.

DOES THE BEAUTY STANDARD LEAD TO EATING DISORDERS? DO WE NEED TO STOP THIS?

4m · Published 29 Mar 17:00

The beauty standard being a healthy weight is clearly better than the beauty standard being an unhealthy (anorexic or obese) weight, because at least it prevents people from trying to achieve unhealthy weight on a large scale (pardon the pun). But when you look deeper you realise that it can perpetuate a lot of other problems, like fad and crash diets which can then cause a lack of ability to eat intuitively. We discuss in this short clip how not caring what people look like could actually create more physical beauty in the world, because people will become less anxious with reaching a certain physical goal, and with more intuitive eating, a balanced weight could be easier to achieve.

THE BEAUTY STANDARD: USEFUL OR TOXIC?

50m · Published 17 Mar 18:00

In this episode we discuss the ever changing beauty standard and if it is a good or a bad thing. We talk about how it can create an over the top focus on physical looks which can take away and distract from more important and fulfilling tasks in life.

Living up to a beauty standard comes from a toxic focus on caring what others think. Constantly trying to impress people as you think it will bring contentment and fulfilment.

Attempting to live up to a beauty standard is a good example of how extrinsic motivation will rarely lead to fulfilment. Motivating ourselves by doing something that impresses others will not make us happy. Only indirectly. Only short term. Long term it tends to cause sadness and insecurity, because it’s not for our happiness, it’s for other people.

The beauty standard is fine if no one cares much for it, but if that was the case then the standard would cease to exist anyway! Do we need a beauty standard to hold us close to a healthy way of living? We argue that is actually does the opposite, it creates an unhealthy way of living, so it’s best to take your mind of physical looks altogether!

WILL FUTURE TECHNOLOGY LEAD TO A TOTAL CONTROL DYSTOPIA OR TWO TIER SOCIETY?

2m · Published 25 Nov 18:00

TO LISTEN TO THE FULL TECHNOLOGY EPISODE CLICK HERE: https://anchor.fm/letsbeopen/episodes/IS-TECHNOLOGY-GOING-IN-A-GOOD-OR-BAD-DIRECTION-FOR-HUMANITY-e14n14t

In this mini clip we discus the total control dystopia that will be possible if future technology were to become controlled by the wrong people. Much like a 21st century Nazi party, with total control of robots and surveillance to keep certain groups of people imprisoned.

Are humans compassionate enough to care for those around them? We don’t do it now, with riches in the west and poverty elsewhere in the world. The rich with more power and more control of technology, to us, looks like a disaster waiting to happen.
