Mold is a silent threat that can lurk in our homes or inside of our bodies, even years after exposure.

068: How The Menstrual Cycle Can Change The World and Functional Hormone Testing with Zesty Ginger

1h 1m · Published 14 Sep 07:00

We can have a huge impact on society, and maybe even change the world, if we lean into the phases of our menstrual cycle and understand our body’s cues with neurotransmitter and functional hormone testing and evaluation.

Dr. Alex Golden, MD and Megan Blacksmith, FDN work together as team Zesty Ginger. Working together they combine functional medicine and mindset to help women balance their hormones and live their best lives.

What I really love about Zesty Ginger is they take it a different approach than a conventional doctor might and use functional hormone testing along with neurotransmitter testing to get a fuller picture of women's health and women's hormone challenges.

In this episode we go deep into why hormones are so crucial for overall health, the four phases of the menstrual cycle and the superpowers you get in each phase, the amazing learnings we can get from functional lab testing to help our overall health physically and mentally.
