Take back your power! Ep: 49

1m · Published 01 Feb 23:03

It’s time to stop acting like you're on the receiving end of what ever the world wants to dump on you.

You know you've got a choice, right?

Stop telling the world and yourself that you don't have a choice over any of this, you do have a choice.

I know it can be hard that’s why other people don't win, because when it's hard they give up.

One day spent not working towards your goals adds up.

If today I spend one day less working on my goals, it's like one paper cut, which is not a big deal in the big scheme of things.

One paper cut wont kill me.

However, if I spend 2,3,4, 50 60 days, not working on my goal that's a lot of paper cuts.
And that can cause some pain.

Every time you decide not to work on your goal is one day less that you're going to get to enjoy it when you get there.

It's time to get up, it's time to move forward, but most of all, it’s time to take your power back.

Luck! You're not lucky. You worked hard - Ep: 48

1m · Published 27 Jan 00:06

Luck! What is that?
If you’re going to do something, its to stop assuming that someone was just lucky.
They were’t lucky…..they worked for it.
They did things you wouldn’t do.
They woke up at times that you wouldn’t wake up at.
They prepared their day when you decided not to.
They used resources that you didnt use and when there were no resources to use they more resourceful than you.
If you’re sitting here saying that somebody was lucky, that they got what they got, or they got the results they got through luck, you’re missing the point.

it’s not luck when the person you’re talking about never gave up for one minute on what it was that they wanted, they didn’t stop working and they didn’t take their eyes off the prize. That’s not lucky, that’s hard work.
You’re confused, it wasn’t luck, it was WORK!

So, You want to quit? - Ep: 47

1m · Published 25 Jan 03:05

Shits hard? I get that.

You want to quit… ? Yeh, that may work.

You’re tired… Aren’t we all?

My question to you is, what will you do next.

Will you give up on what’s hard for the “easy”?

Will you give-up on yourself, on your goals?

Just to have Zero purpose.

If you quit, what will fill your time?

You’re tired - Yeh working on your goals, working on your body, on your fitness, on your health, anything you put WORK into will make you tired. That’s OK!

These emotions, these feelings you're going through are necessary, because on the other side of this, is victory.

keep going.

In health and happiness,

Coach Shane.

How do you talk to yourself? - Ep 46

2m · Published 18 Jan 04:04

You need to stop beating yourself up. You need to speak to yourself with respect.

How heavy do you think this bottle of water is - Ep 45

2m · Published 15 Jan 03:34

How heavy do you think this bottle of water is?

It's not the weight of the bottle that matters, it's how long you hold on to it.

How long you hold on to it can create the pain. Like lifes worries and stresses.

If you hold on to them for a minute, it's OK. If you hold on to it for 2 days, 2 week, 2 years it can be really detrimental to you and your health.

You are not a failure - Ep 44

Stop comparing yourself to others. It's the thief of joy.

It's time to confront, yourself! - Episode 43

I need you to confront, YOU!

No one really knows what they are doing in life - Episode 42

1m · Published 13 Jan 11:23

No one really knows what they are doing in life. (SHOCK!)

Some people make it seem like they had it all figured out, that they had every corner, speed bump and stop light written out in some huge life plan and knew what they were doing.

The truth is, they didn't.

In order to get to any place you want to go in life, you may have to travel down many wrong roads and this is purely to help you ultimately understand what you're looking for on the "right" road.

The trick is, never give up and one day, you'll ultimately arrive in a place you're happy with.
