Are you convicted or Are you interested?

Most people don't know.. But, There is a MASSIVE DIFFERENCE


Convicted - the state of mind of a person who is sure that what he or she believes.

Interested - having the attention or curiosity


If you are convicted you will find a way.

If you are interested you will find an excuse.


If you simply have interest in something you will find reasons it won't work, reasons to not take action.


When you are convicted to something...

NOTHING CAN STOP YOU!!!


You can't be stopped, you don't have limits. You have excuses.

The excuses we make on a daily basis are what create the cage and walls we live in.

Is the 80/20 Principle Real?

The 80/20 Principle or Pareto Principle says 80% of your results come from 20% of your activities.

I believe its even more skewed than that. That most are doing very few things that are leading to the actual life they want. Leading them to "the best version of themselves"


Meaning most of what you do throughout the day is actually a distraction.

Most of what you are doing is taking you farther from your goals or the life you want.


Dr. Marshall Goldsmith says, "If we do not create and control our environment, our environment creates and controls us.”


We live in a world of constant distraction, constant infiltration on your time, your attention, constantly pulling you away from what you want.

This is the airplane concept, which says that an airplane spends 90% of the time course-correcting, for head winds, tail winds, turbulence pulling it off course.


It's a very simple 2 step process:

1. Tell me your goal.

2. Show me your calendar.

Are the tasks/ activities on your calendar in alignment with the goal? If not fix it immediately. Create Values around your goal, why it's important to you. So you can choose tasks and activities that are in alignment with your goal.

There is a major difference.

MARK HENICK’s TEDx talk about the stranger who saved his life has been

viewed millions of times, and is among the most watched TEDx talks ever. Mark

has appeared in hundreds of television, radio, print and online features about

mental health. As host of both his So-Called Normal podcast, and the Living

Well podcast for LifeWorks, he has interviewed hundreds of experts,

celebrities, and public figures about mental health. Mark previously served as

the youngest ever board director for the Mental Health Commission of Canada,

and the youngest president of a provincial Canadian Mental Health Association

Your Perception is Your Reality

He warns that giving in to negative and disorienting self-talk—what he calls “chatter”—can tank our health, sink our moods, strain our social connections, and cause us to fold under pressure.

Engaged Chatter- is getting stuck in the cycle of negative thinking and feeling.


But the good news is that we can make our inner voice also work in our favor. By being aware, taking note of, and leading the most important conversations we have everyday...The one's with ourselves.


Most of us would never to talk to other's they way we talk to ourselves. So why is it ok? Because most the time it goes undetected. We don't even realize we are doing it. Let's change it!


We must get our Thoughts, Words and Actions in Alignment.


We must create "Self-Synergy".


When those thoughts are coming, when you are stuck in the Chatter....


Ask yourself: Is this thought serving me? Is it in alignment with who I want to be and where I want to go?

All of those work, Its actually, what you are committed to!


Commitment is a statement of what is!

You can know what you're committed to by the results you are getting.

Not by what you SAY, by what you are DOING


If you want a different result, you must commit to a different behavior.

Its a simple as the 3C's to create habits of success

Commit- Identify the goal/result

Competence- Go get the skills necessary to achieve that result

Confidence- Its only earned by doing
