We’ve come to realize to most people we meet or that find us, our business is kind of “invisible.” We aren’t creating much new discoverable content besides this podcast and even that exists in a bit of a vacuum. Yet, our business has never been healthier from a growth and profit standpoint!

This week, we’re talking MONEY. Specifically, we want to share some impactful choices we made around money and how they changed our lives and businesses.

If you don’t know, we were $124,000 in debt in 2013 with no plan, zero consistent income, and a lot of stress and overwhelm. How did we turn our mental state around AND pay off 100% of our debt in less than 3 years? You’ll have to tune in to find out!

Money is a tricky topic, but after watching Ramit Sethi’s new Netflix show, we were inspired to be more transparent and share more conversations moving forward about money.

This might be a bit of a curveball episode, but, as the name of our podcast suggests we’re always trying to think bigger picture and to question the norms of society (both people named “Norm” and the “standard ideals” we all get brainwashed into from time to time).

We’re not immune to the effects AND negative thoughts around getting older. Our age might just be a number and a construct of human existence (WHAT EVEN IS TIME??), but there are some realities to aging and gaining years on Earth.

Maybe this episode will help you reframe how you think about aging? Maybe it won’t? We just wanted to share a conversation we’ve been having a lot more this year that seemed interesting!

After being off IG for over a year with our business account (@wanderingaimfully), we hopped back on to create and share a “9-grid.” Essentially, it’s a way to show what we’re up to, in an interesting visual way for anyone who comes to our account.

Because we’re still not using Instagram, we wanted all the traffic that might be finding us there to know what we’re up to… without having to always be creating content talking about what we’re up to. Hence… the 9-grid!

In this episode, we meandered through some of our recent thoughts on social media and how much comparison reared its ugly head in just the 2 days we were using Instagram again to create the 9-grid (and then immediately sign off again).

Life is all about seasons, and the season we’re currently in is filled with more hours spent working than we’ve had in years. In fact, we’ve been spending so much time working that we’re beginning to feel a tinge of guilt about it (like we’re cheating on the idea of enoughness 😂).

This week, we discuss the concept of “satisfied striving.” Can we lean towards growth, while still being rooted in satisfaction and gratitude? We think so, but let’s discuss!
