STANDOUT QUOTES

  • “Humans are a compilation of stories that we create, that we live, that we rewrite. And so when we are thinking about how we as humans show up to moments or to environments, that really comes from our brain. When we are able to interlace those things and understand where people are in their story and their life journey and infuse them with new understanding, all of a sudden their story starts to shift and can become richer.” -Dr. Amber Selking [08:59]

  • “What are you going to do with what you have? It doesn’t matter how much or how little. it just matters that you grow it.”  -Dr. Amber Selking [13:08]

  • “Oftentimes we release control or say: “That’s just my life.” or “That’s just how I am.”, I think that’s the narrative. The story we tell ourselves is doing a great deal of harm or certainly not helping to the degree that it could.” - Edgar Cabello [25:08]
  • “If we are crafting a story about our life or our identity, and we just repeat that over and over. We are building mindsets, literally protein patterns that change the form and function of our brain ” -Dr. Amber Selking [25:49]
