OL22: Triggers in 2020

When I look at 2020 from a recovery standpoint, when I look at Triggers from an addiction mindset. If I'm not looking after myself. If I'm not taking care of my needs, or looking out for my mental health. It won't take much to trigger me. The same triggers for you, may not be the same triggers for me.

In this episode we talk about how a single match stick (if left unchecked) can turn into a dumpster fire.

OL21: Limiting beliefs and Comfort Zones in 2020

When it comes to comfort zones, what makes you feel comfortable might be different than me. A comfort zone is reassuring, but there's also a negative impact from comfort zones. From an addiction perspective, if I limit my view of life, by restricting my perception only seeing things I want to see. If I'm only having conversations that I want to have. I'm now artificially creating certain outcomes. This could be called meticulous, or culpable. This is an artificial comfort zone. My comfort zone might not actually be comforting.

Identifying there's a problem is one thing, reaching out for help is another thing. Ego & Pride can stop both. Ego & Pride have never served me. They don't serve others, and they certainly don't serve the greater good.
