Being heard is so close to being loved that for the average person, they are almost indistinguishable. 

We humans are sucky at listening.  We know how to talk, do, move, get things done. But we aren’t very good at listening. And who wants to be in a relationship with someone who doesn't listen to you? 

How well do you listen to others in the world around you?  To yourself and the world within you? 

In today's episode I'm laying out the case for how better listening makes us more empathic, loving people not just to others but also to ourselves.

Boost Your Positivity During Times of Uncertainty with These Habits

Make Friends with Stress, Discomfort and Uncertainty with these 8 Coping Strategies

We're living in a most uncertain time and adapting to a new and unfamiliar, changing environment that is causing a lot of stress for many people.

But is stress really all bad for you?

Are we doing ourselves a disservice by avoiding stress rather than better coping with it.

Could there actually be benefits to stress?

In today's episode we'll be talking about living well in your "discomfort zone" and 8 proven strategies to get you through even seemingly  hopeless situations.

1. Let it go.
2. Purge your emotions.
3. Try to learn something. 
4. Enjoy yourself.
5. Keep up with your responsibilities.
6. Create a plan for the future.
7. Make a list of all the things that fill you with gratitude.
8. Reflect on what you have accomplished in the past.

Also, focus on what you CAN control, starting with making your bed first thing in the morning.

Remember, courage is a muscle that we all have.  It just takes a bit of practice.

What Should Life Balance Look Like?

It's something many women are looking for.  And yet, most don't even know how to recognize it.  They also don't know how to get there.

it's a balanced life.

It's that life that feels refreshing. Harmonious. One in which we are living out our purpose and feel contentment and peace.  

We seem to easily recognize a life that is OUT of balance.  Chaos. Disorganization.  Stress. Overwhelm.  Not enough time.  

But why can't we recognize what it feels like when our life IS in balance?

That's probably because once you're out of balance, it's hard to know how to bring it back.  Like a compass that needs regular reorienteering when the path to the destination gets off track, our life needs to be reorienteered when it gets off track. But you need to know HOW to reorient our compass.

So how do we bring an out of balance life back into balance?

That's what we talk about in this podcast.
