Anti-Fat Bias and Purity Culture with Megan Moss
39m · PublishedIn this episode, I chat with Megan Moss about her experience in a fat body, about purity culture and therapy. Below are a few of the references we spoke about in the episode:
- Health At Every Size By Lindo Bacon
- Grumpy Monkey By Suzanne Lang
- Viniyoga is a style and lineage of yoga that works mostly individually with people to help them connect with their bodies and shift their experience in their bodies and mind. When I work individually with people, I put together a practice just for them and whatever they are working through at this time. They ideally practice most days and we meet regularly to check in and adjust their practice accordingly. This practice is usually slow, intentional and has a breathing and meditation practice.
