Welcome to the Making Sense of a Healthy Life Podcast where you’ll find answers to all your questions about living a healthy lifestyle, raising a healthy family, taking care of yourself, achieving your health & fitness goals, and creating a healthy, happy and fulfilling life. Because health and fitness should support your dream life, not rule it. Making sense of a healthy life can seem completely overwhelming. I know you have so many questions and there’s an endless stream of contradicting answers. What does a healthy lifestyle even look like? How do I do self-care when I have no time? How do I teach my kids healthy habits? How do I improve my health? Do I have to buy into the health, fitness and diet fads in order to live a healthy life? What workouts and exercise should you be doing to maximize your results when your time is limited? How do I eat healthier without spending hours in the kitchen and my whole paycheck? Where do I find a balance between caring for myself, raising a happy, healthy family, and pursuing my own interests? Can I live a healthier life while managing chronic pain, chronic illness and other health issues? I’m your host, Jess Roe, a Health & Fitness Coach and Mom of 2, successfully making sense of a healthy life while living with hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome and the other health issues that go along with. I know what it’s like to try to create a healthy life in the face of health issues, becoming a wife, parent and entrepreneur while managing everything life throws my way. But I’m here to tell you that you CAN do it too. That’s why I’m bringing you simple, actionable answers to all your questions so you can start making sense of a healthy life today.
