INTERVIEW: Mental Health Series featuring Lindsey Morrissey. Chronic illness, depression, discovering yourself, finding your tribe and it's okay not to be okay.
47m · PublishedHi friends! Welcome to May. If you didn't know, May is Mental Health Awareness Month. To celebrate, I wanted to bring on every day people, just like you, to talk about their journeys! As a disclaimer, neither one of us are mental health professionals and we are speaking on our own experiences.
To start us off, meet Lindsey (best name ever, I know). On this episode Lindsey shares about being diagnosed with multiple chronic illnesses (POTS and Ehlers Danlos Syndrome), generalized anxiety disorder, and seasonal affective disorder amongst other things, how being vulnerable has helped her grow, starting a business, finding online communities, finding your people and SO much more.

You may not be ready now, but you will be.
17m · PublishedSometimes exciting (by scary) things can happen at the same time!
You may notice the new podcast art - it's been 2 years now since the release of Episode 1, so it was time for a change.
Today's episode is all about change, not being ready, but GETTING ready so at some point you will feel READY (that's a lot of "ready," right?!)

Fail in the beginning & something I'm SUPER EXCITED about that I've kind of been keeping a SECRET.
18m · PublishedIn this episode, I pass along some wisdom I was given this week: "Fail in the beginning" and "go ugly early." These two mantras were shared in a course I'm taking that I absolutely needed to share with you because if they moved something in me, they likely may move something in you too, right?
But even more, I'm sharing some REALLY EXCITING news with you. I've been working on achieving a certification in something that I KNOW will be absolutely life-changing for so many people and I can not wait to really dive in. Certified Enneagram Coach, coming at you soon! How is this linked to failing in the beginning and going ugly early? You're going to have to listen to find out.

The versions of you that exist.
24m · PublishedOver the course of the last few months, I've really come to realize that multiple versions of me exist - and honestly it's bizarre and mind-blowing. In this week's episode, I talk about how this has come to be, why it matters and why it doesn't need to happen. I talk about my apprehension to go back to Maine and how the life I lived there is so very different than the life I live here. Essentially, what I get to is living authentically as you will set you free!

Let it go and step in to your power
25m · PublishedDisney Princess Half Marathon Weekend (my favorite weekend of the entire year) just happened, and WOW was it amazing. I got to see family, get to know my friend Kristina better and experience all the magic that is Disney!
This is my third Princess weekend and easily my most favorite so far. I hit personal time records for both my 10k and Half Marathon, but that wouldn't have happened in the Half Marathon without the song "Let it go."
This episode is all about reflecting on your past, realizing how far you've come and letting it go to step in to your power.

Dating Apps and Ghosting (Featuring special guest Catherine Tanous)
1h 0m · PublishedOnline dating is hard. Communicating with strangers on the internet is weird. People are quirky. Today's episode is light-hearted and different from most episodes (but mixing things up from the norm is fun sometimes)! I'm joined today by Catherine Tanous! Catherine is on OG listener of the podcast and came to me with an idea for an episode.
We talk about Tinder, Hinge, Bumble, Coffee Meets Bagel, Facebook Dating, Cats, Fish, Sex, Sex Toys, Tater Tots, Trivia Night, Friends, and so much more.
