Hi friends! Welcome to May. If you didn't know, May is Mental Health Awareness Month. To celebrate, I wanted to bring on every day people, just like you, to talk about their journeys! As a disclaimer, neither one of us are mental health professionals and we are speaking on our own experiences. 

To start us off, meet Lindsey (best name ever, I know). On this episode Lindsey shares about being diagnosed with multiple chronic illnesses (POTS and Ehlers Danlos Syndrome), generalized anxiety disorder, and seasonal affective disorder amongst other things, how being vulnerable has helped her grow, starting a business, finding online communities, finding your people and SO much more.

In this episode, I pass along some wisdom I was given this week: "Fail in the beginning" and "go ugly early."  These two mantras were shared in a course I'm taking that I absolutely needed to share with you because if they moved something in me, they likely may move something in you too, right? 

But even more, I'm sharing some REALLY EXCITING news with you. I've been working on achieving a certification in something that I KNOW will be absolutely life-changing for so many people and I can not wait to really dive in. Certified Enneagram Coach, coming at you soon! How is this linked to failing in the beginning and going ugly early? You're going to have to listen to find out.

In this week's episode, I talk about how this has come to be, why it matters and why it doesn't need to happen. I talk about my apprehension to go back to Maine and how the life I lived there is so very different than the life I live here. Essentially, what I get to is living authentically as you will set you free!

Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend (my favorite weekend of the entire year) just happened, and WOW was it amazing. I got to see family, get to know my friend Kristina better and experience all the magic that is Disney! 
This is my third Princess weekend and easily my most favorite so far. I hit personal time records for both my 10k and Half Marathon, but that wouldn't have happened in the Half Marathon without the song "Let it go." 
This episode is all about reflecting on your past, realizing how far you've come and letting it go to step in to your power.
